Almost 40 min on hold. Sigh. WHY do I do this to my myself every year???? It seems like there must be a better way. I know it will be worth it when we get there but maddening this morning.

I called at exactly 7:00 and only waited about 6 minutes.

I only wanted one the Great Whiskey debate on November 2nd

Got it with no problem.

She did ask if I was staying on Disney property but she did not ask for a reservation number.

FYI, I was on hold for about 10 minutes (called right at 7), but my line was completely silent until somebody picked up. So a silent hold line doesn't mean anything bad!

My wife is so excited about Andrew Zimmern!!!

Called at exactly 07:00 today. Waited 40 minutes on hold. Only some general admission seats left for the Party on 10/12. Hope my arthritic mom can stand all night...lucky I got tickets but disappointed Me up waiting for the window to open lol

This makes me think that it is possible only a limited amount of spaces are open today. "Some" general admission seats for PFTS? They sell a lot of general admission seats and they rarely sell out completely.

Got thru right at 7 AM then on hold for 20 min. Got French Regional Lunch on Nov. 1, HBD dinner on Oct. 3, Parisian b'fast on Oct. 4. I'm on hold for the FRL on Oct. 13. CM can't find any information about it. It shows it exists but she can't book it. Now she says a supervisor says it's already fully booked. Seems improbable but that's what she says. I think I'll try again later. I feel sorry for the people who don't have the Disney visa and call tomorrow to reserve.

I had the same problem with that FRL, I booked the 11th instead of taking the chance it was a computer thing and calling back later

That would seem to make sense, although no consolation for those who been on hold for such a long time.

After 35 minutes on hold, and maybe 15 minutes booking, I got everything I wanted. I have a split stay for this trip and she went through confirming both resort reservations (dates, number in party) before she started booking the events, don't know why. I got the main event I wanted, the food and beer pairing @ Via Napoli on 10/22. I am quite excited because after five years of attending F& W, I finally was able to reserve an event other than the usual seminars. Usually I'm on hold for at least an hour and by the time I speak to a CM, everything I'm interesting in is sold out.

I feel sorry for those who do not have a Disney Visa, most likely there will not be much left for them tomorrow.

Now, on to work.

I got through right at 7 with no waiting. However, the CM insisted on verifying my reservation first, then corrected the spelling of my last name and address, before she would even check on the events that I wanted. That was stressful. She was very nice, but spoke so slowly. I was convinced everything would book up before she got to it. But it didn't.

Sweet Seats are sold out on 10/4. I guess the people who were able to book on Friday were able to get them all. Boo! This just seems really unfair, but at least I was able to get General admission.
I was able to book the Tequila Lunch on 10/5

ETA: I was eligible to book seminars on Friday, but these were the only two things we wanted this year. I tried booking the dessert party on Saturday, but at this point, everything was pulled down.

I just tell them I am staying at the Dolphin, whether I am or not. If I tell them I'm staying onsite they want reservation numbers and linkage and all that and I have three different trips and five different reservations.

For once I was lucky! Started calling at 6:58 and just kept hitting redial. Got in at 7 and after one "autobot" question had a CM. Got WineView Lounge at PFTS which was all I wanted.

I would like to book a Tequila lunch, but... worried about my schedule and the "non refundable' part. I debated long and hard on Parisian Breakfast but decided that was really my only BCV pool day so...skipped it tool

She was very nice and did tell me that (a) she had been told that there were "limited' spots open today, which I assume means more will open tomorrow and (b) I had to pay with a Disney Visa.
