When does RCCL open thiers every year.

So, how quickly do the prices go up? I know opening day is cheapest, but will prices still be good if we end up not being able to book until November or December for summer 2013 cruise? Or will they be the same as they are now for summer 2012 (jumped up a bit)? I read somewhere that you should book 12-18 months in advance, so I am just wondering...

Depends on demand for the particular cruise!

We want to do a 4-day Bahamian cruise... the itinerary is old (they always do it), but the ship is new, so... it could go either way I guess.

Too bad they don't offer land and sea cruises anymore. I guess we'll just have to make our own version of a land and sea cruise.

I really hope they come up with some good itineraries for 2013! I cannot wait to change my dummy cruise to something "real".

CM at DCL told me end of September to mid-October for announcements. TA said probably mid-October to end of October.

So I'm saying by end of October?

I would like to go to Key West myself but the pictures I saw of St. Thomas in the DCL Picture of the day thread were beautiful. Decisions, Decisions!!!

I know everything is hearsay; and sometimes CM's aren't completely accurate; I just got off the Dream; and I booked a dummy cruise. The reservationist said that the 2013 dates should be out by Thanksgiving. But I'm hoping that it's before then!

I'd book that. Solves one of the drawbacks to Galveston...no Castaway Cay....and also gets you to Disney World since you also lose out on that not sailing out of Port Canaveral. Have zero interest in Key West though. That ouls be my stay on the boat day I guess.

I think DCL would be smart to alternate this 8-night itinerary with the 6-night one that goes to Grand Cayman and Cozumel so some could do B2B cruises.

I think I would like this itinerary too after thinking about it more. I initially wrote it off because I didn't think about being able to go to WDW. And 8 nights!
