REally hoping there will be a NY/Bahama cruise summer 2013. We wanted to go to NYC and a cruise so this would be both. Hoping!!!

We are waiting for a west TA. I know the Carnival Magic to Tx is 16 nights.

Of course, it is only speculation, but my guess would be October. Now that they have done Alaska twice, if it is offered, it would be announced in October. Disney usually announces new/special itineraries in the Spring.

The Magic is going Western till at least the end of April from there who knows.

We did the TA back in 2007 and after hearing the horror stories from April were dreading it, but it was smooth as glass all six days. In fact, there were some days you couldn't even tell we were moving

That's exactly what our friends told us. They said it was so very peaceful! Glad you had a wonderful time this time around.

No, you would only get the discount on 1 cruise. Doesn't matter how many you book B2B, each cruise is a separate ressie and to get the discount for each one you need to either book them each onboard or have as many dummy dates as you want to move them to.

Glad I did make two dummy ressies, I thought this might be the case.

You won't get an eastbound Transatlantic in September, but you might get a westbound. If DCL is in the Med, Labor Day would be quite early to return to the US.

While I was on the phone with DCL today I asked the CM about expected release dates for 2013 ... she said they (the phone CMs) didn't know but were anticipating October or November with something showing on the website once it was closer to the time.

I sent them an email a couple days ago about this and they said they didn't know yet. So it probably won't be for another month or so, maybe into November.

CM at DCL told me end of September to mid-October for announcements. TA said probably mid-October to end of October.

No one knows for sure. We are all eagerly anticipating an announcement sometime in the next days to month.....but that is just based on past policies.
