Goodnight all :cloud9: I have to get up early as I have a very important flight to catch:cool1:

If anyone is interested we are participating in jabead's live dining thread and she will be posting all of our meals and reviews popcorn::

I'll be seeing you in all the old familiar places,
that this heart of mine embraces,
all day and through.

In that small cafe, the park across the way, the children's carousel, the chestnut trees, the wishing well.

I'll be seeing you in every lovely summers day, in everything that's light and gay, I'll always think of you that way.

I'll find you in the morning sun, and when the night is new I'll be looking at the moon but seeing you.

Well after 7 days and 6 nights we are sadly checking out of the BC tomorrow. On the bright side we are checking into the Poly CL for another 4 nights and heading home on Friday! As this was our first WDW trip we had no idea what to expect so I'm so thankful for DIS! We loved the BC. We were on the 3rd floor, room 3641 with an excellent view of the beach and boardwalk (we can even see the Tower of Terror). We LOVED the location. You just can't beat it. DD6 loved the pool, I enjoyed the boardwalk, especially at night. We caught the movie on the beach twice and were able to roast marshmallows tonight. I'm sad to leave the BC but excited to see how thee Poly compares. I do know that when we come back, we will definitely be staying here at the BC!!

Today is our 28th wedding anniversary...trying to decide if I am more excited about that or the fact we will be celebrating it with a stay at the YC in two weeks! :cool1:

A belated Happy Anniversary. Not only will we be at the World around the same time, we are celebrating a similar anniversary while there (27).

:woohoo:

We're staying at the Beach Club from December 20th to December 25th! Can't wait!

:welcome:

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list for December.

Let us know if you have any questions.

:cool1:

We are staying at BC November 2-9. Celebrating our 40th Anniversary and our DDs and friends will be joining us for all the Food & Wine deliciousness. This will be our 17th year to experience the F & W Festival and 10 of those we have stayed at the BC. It is just about as perfect as it can be!

:welcome:

Congrats on your upcoming anniversary!!!

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.

:yay:

Dee sad to say but we have to come off the Be Our Guest list. Budget is dictating that we stay Mod in November. Thanks everyone for all the help in making our May trip at the BC awesome! We will get back someday!:goodvibes

Sorry to hear that, but feel free to stick around if you wish to join in on the fun. If not, hope to see you back soon!

:goodvibes

Maybe I missed something, but, they are expanding the BC CL lounge? Any idea when it will be completed? That's great news, they really need a larger lounge!

If I haven't greeted you here on the thread in the past, :welcome:

Reports are that the BC CL lounge is going to be expanded, and parts of the resort will be renovated next year. I haven't seen an start date or anticipated completion date announced for the work.

:thumbsup2

YC 8/14-8/21 - can't wait!!!

:welcome:

I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.

:woohoo:

My boyfriend and I will be staying at Disney's Beach Club this week.

:welcome:

Enjoy your stay! I'll add you to the Be Our Guest list.

:)

We retured home Thursday after a great family trip, We were at BC for the second half of our trip and loved it!!!!

Loved that BC Marketplace had gluten free snacks for my son!!! Wished they were open later so we could get something when we returned from the parks though as we did the fireworks shows on this half of our trip.

Thanks again for your report. Do you have any details, or pictures of some of the gluten-free offerings? Trying to gather some information for guests with allergies and other special food needs

:thumbsup2

I can't remember if I mentioned here or another thread...

I've extended our October trip by a day! Unfortunately, there were no YC GV CL rooms available, so I opted for a night at the Poly - somewhere we've both wanted to stay but we haven't been able to break away from what we love
- parents, brother and his gf are coming along for the trip, so we needed the extra night alone!!

Anyways, when I booked, the CM I spoke with told me that the Poly would set up transportation for me over to YC. I have my doubts on whether or not this is true. Does anyone know for sure? I've never done a split stay before, and only heard of having your luggage transported through Disney.
Thanks so much. I love reading this thread everyday. Best one on the boards :cheer2:

Thanks for the kind words about the thread!

I don't know if you mentioned the night at the Poly. Before or after your stay? I have you on the Be Our Guest list for October, but no specific dates.

:cool2:

Check with the front desk or the Concierge desk. If you tell the CM when you check in, they may give them to you then.

Have a GREAT stay!!

Glad you've had such a great time at BC! I'm very curious to see how the Poly compares for you. We stayed there last trip and really loved it, but it seems there are huge, and very different, pros to each resort. Keep us posted! ;)
