Stayed at WL many times and loved it...First time at YC!! Can't wait!! Tell me why you love YC!!

We stayed at WL once and had a great time, but once we tried YC/BC, we haven't been able to tear ourselves away!

First: location, location, location. You will find that being walking distance to Epcot is absolutely fantastic. We get park hoppers (highly recommended) and have quite a few of our dinners in the World Showcase, regardless of which park(s) we have visited during the day.

DHS is also walkable, but better is that it's a very pleasant boat ride away. (What we loved about WL was the boat ride to MK, so you get the same sort of feeling here.)

We also really love being able to walk over to Boardwalk -- love the bakery in the morning, or Kouzzina for breakfast.

Meanwhile, the resorts themselves offer SO much in terms of dining, and shopping, and then of course (drumroll, please,)

THE POOL! There's just nothing like Stormalong Bay, anywhere. We all love it.

We have stayed at WL, Poly, Contemp and had good experiences at each -- but we just keep going back to YC/BC.

And that gives Flat Dee an extra day to arrive. Some years I have literally cut it that close! I think there was a year I tried to fax myself to you at the CL.

GREAT NEWS EVERYONE! !!

As you may have heard, I was coming to the end of my life cycle. I was feeling kind of old and run down and things were starting to fall off if you know what I mean... I even had to go to the eye doctor and get compound eye bifocals! Well, Mrs Buzzy was having none of that so she took me to the Gregor Mendel institute and volunteered me for some genetic studies. Scientists there were able to rearrange my biological clock so it seems I will be able to stick around a little longer.... or at least until T gets her hands on another pool noodle.

So is there any chance I would be invited to the meet on July 7th?

Could you update my BOG info please? Just switched from a BC GV room to YC Standard Club level room (no club rooms at BC left on Bounceback), still the same dates 8/20 to 8/30. All the club level talk and pics on this thread finally got to me I think I read earlier that Teena won’t be there during our stay so figured it would be ok to stay on the “dark side”. Teena, I’d still be happy to bring you the treats you like from Tastykake and leave them at the front desk if you remind me of what they are again.

You'll be here the exact same dates I'll be going and coming home from helping Jeanne in Nevada. Maybe we can meet up at the airport! That is very sweet of you. I like the chocolate tandycakes the best. Bob likes the peanut butter ones. I also love the cherry tasty pies. Haven't had one of them in over 9 years. You'll love the YC too. In fact, I prefer the room décor at the YC over the BC. I just don't like the YC lobby to work in ... too dark and slow. I like all the crazy stuff going on in the lobby at the BC. Seems like there are always lots of people around whereas the YC seems so quiet. The few times I worked in the lobby on the dark side, it was all I could do not to fall asleep standing there.

Checking in to Beach Club Villas, our DVC "home", two weeks from today. Although we have stayed there a few times already, this is our first trip as owners. Celebrating my daughters. High school graduation. Can't wait to get there!

Absolutely! What time do you begin your shift? We usually like to get on the road around 9am-ish. Hopefully we'll get to see you! We'll be the sunburned family with the crying mom in the lobby.

Is the Universal portion of your stay before or after YC? Where are you staying?? Have you been to US/IoA before?

Our dates are very similar.

We are going to "The Park Which Must Not Be Named" from July 13-16, then checking in to the BC July 16-20.
