Good morning folks!!!!


You know it's bad when I'm up before Dee!!!!! Heading to airport, should be at CSR around 1:30!!!!!

I'm hoping the rest if our trip will be smooth... Got to our hotel last night to check in and Tge lady says " you already checked in!!" Someone had checked into a room using my name!!!!

Thankfully they weren't booked solid!!!

The manager apologized, I told them not to worry, but I kind of wonder how the heck that happened!!!

A little bored as we are driving and decided to check in. We are nearing Charlotte, NC and have been on the road about 10 hours We hit some heavier rain early this am as the outer part of Andrea seemed to be nearing. We pulled over for a little siesta at a fine Virginia rest area but back on the road and the weather has cleared. Kids are still sleeping. Hope to be in Orlando by mid-afternoon.

Good flight to ocalla!

Just wondering, if we check in early am Sat at BC -we can still do that upstairs at CL desk? Could we also then have breakfast there that day or can we not use the lounge until after the afternoon checkin time. Did not think of these details before we decided to be crazy and drive the whole way in one day!

Room 2631 is a great location! Not to far from the lobby and we can use the stairs instead of the elevator. Here are our views;

Have never stayed CL, but I do know that you can check in at the front desk as early as 6:30. And once you check in, you can start using all the amenities of the resort. So you will be able to have breakfast in the lounge, I just don't know how early the CL desk is staffed for check in.

Good question. You can definitely check in early and use the lounge even if it is before 11 and your room isn't ready yet. I think the CL desks are staffed starting at 7 am when the lounge opens for breakfast and they probably can do checkins at that time but I'm not positive.

But if the CL CMs aren't checking in people yet, you still should be able to check in at the regular desks in the main lobby.

Seriously???

So I would think that would be fairly easy to investigate- they should know which room the "false ocalla" checked in to and find out what happened at checkin.

Did you do online checkin? Hope it was some sort of computer mistake-not an actual malicious identity theft- but it might not be a bad idea to make sure there are not any funky charges on your room account or credit card if you provided that info in advance.

BC - CL Deluxe Room
First Trip for DH and the Kiddos. I did CP in the Summer of 1991 and haven't been back since - yikes I'm old!

1 - Just verifying we won't be on the same floor as the Lounge? Not a big deal, just want to level set with the Family.

2 - Our flight lands at 9:30 PM that Friday night and we plan to use ME, but should we get our bags? I don't mind waiting for them in the room, unless you think it will be after midnight before they arrive?

3 - Do I check in online? Is there any benefit for my particular reservation/time getting in?

Again, thanks so much to all who contribute and answer questions - you're all really great!

And I'm sure I'll have more questions...so thanks in advance for putting up with me!

Beach Club Deluxe, Suites, VP and Presidential Rooms


Since there are just a limited number of rooms, I'm not sure that there is an advantage or disadvantage to doing on-line checkin except that it will make the process a little quicker since you will have already provided a lot of the information needed- at that time at night, every little bit of time is probably precious.

Joining in here! We just decided to upgrade to YC CL from POP, quite a switch I know! We will be there from Friday, Aug. 30 - Mon. Sept. 2, just a quick Labor Day weekend getaway. Can't wait!

Just landed in Atlanta!!!


The hotel screw up was in Baton Rouge!!

Weird thing is they didn't even check in with my address, she asked if I lived in Washington!!!

After manager came out she gets us a room and get thus...... Doesn't even ask me to give her My address, or a credit card to put on file!!! Just hands us a room key. One if the workers went to knock on the door of the "fake ocalla" and there was someone in there but they wouldn't open the door!!! So I'm not sure how they handled getting then to pay for there room ( mine was pre paid)

You can check in any time from 6:30 AM on. However, no matter what time of day, if they are busy upstairs on five, the curbside team will get you checked in downstairs and then take you up. The fifth floor is yours to use from the moment you get there (even at 6:30 AM) to midnight on the day you check-out. Check-in time is 3 PM at the BC ... lots of times when we are super busy the rooms will not be ready until 3ish. Since there are only two CMs upstairs available for check-ins, lots of times if they are busy making reservations or doing check-ins, the curbside will get you checked in downstairs to save you time.

My 180 days was yesterday for our BC CL stay in December, and I got all my ADRs. My daughter-in-law and daughter also got theirs. My granddaughters are so excited, but my daughter has not told her sons yet that we are going!!

We leave Sunday for Disneyland with my daughter and her family for my oldest grandson's birthday. We are staying club level at the Disneyland hotel. I am looking forward to the experience and surprising Zachary with the club level. I have been told I have spoiled my grandchildren by on;y staying on club levels with them!!
