I have a crazyyyyyy question. When you leave Mk & AK will you check what #bus the YC/BC is. :p

We have a bet going at home I want to win :lmao:

Thank you thank you:lovestruc

We aren't going to Ak, but I will be going to MK. I will check for you.

Hi! we're @ the YC club level now too. We're a out as far from the lounge as you can get. We have a great view, directly over the pool, the slide directly in front, the lake & Boardwalk in the distance. We don't mind the walk to the room coz it is so quiet down this end of the hall. With the sliding door closed, I hear no noise from the pool at all. There is a squeaky air conditioner that I can hear when I sit outside, but I can deal with it!

Our very full bus broke down on the way to MK this morning, just before the Contempoary. They had a new bus to us in just minutes (less than 5!). We still managed to get to MK & thru security in time for the opening! They did great getting a new bus there that quick. All the guests were calm & nonastiness from anyone.

We see hardly any love bugs at all but I did notice the flues around. I thought they were really bad in line for Pinochio & Jungle Cruise. Guess it is just surprising coz you just never see flies @ Disney!

No flies noticeable out at sab today (per my wife-I was in room all day for work; just like Monday morning). This evening at mk no flies on main st or tomorrowland other than just few outside cosmic rays near outdoor seating/garbage cans, but none inside where we had our dinner to cool tunes of sammy eclipse.

What is your very favorite thing about staying at the Beach Club/Yacht Club? Inquiring minds want to know :)

I just checked out the chefs lunch menu and OH MY, I need to eat there several times!!!!

The "name" chef of chefs de france was actually the frist famous chef ever of modern era. Prior to him, the restaurants wre owned and affiliated with the maitre d', but he opened a restaurant in paris many years ago andrest is history

We leave for the BC next Thursday, can't wait!

Silly question, we're probably gonna be arriving at the BC around 11:30am, would you have a lunch at Beaches & Cream or walk over to Epcot and go to the Chefs de France?

Would you save B&C for your pool day at the hotel?

Thanks :)

We always walk over to Epcot for lunch on our arrival days. It has become a tradition, and Beaches and Cream always seems too crowded for us. :)

Locations, location, location, and the theme of the resort. We love the large rooms and the light colors. We love being able to walk into Epcot, take a stroll on the boardwalk, and have easy access to HS. There is a lot to do without having to get on a bus. :)

We picked it for the pool primarily, but once we got there, we were so happy with the location! Being so close to two of the parks was amazing. DD suggested staying at AKL next time (she loved it there) but DH said no way! LOL. And the smell in the lobby... Well, I've spent the last year trying to recreate it at home!!

I am looking at weather dot com to try and get a better idea of what to pack. Looks like 30% rain with thunderstorms nearly everyday next week. Does this mean it will rain all day or just come through in the afternoon and only last a short time? I know Hawaii forecast will often show rain, but it doesn't stay around too long. Anyone have a link to local weather reports? I know 30% isn't too bad, if i saw 30% in our local forecast i wouldn't be concerned but when i see the forecast for nearly an entire week i think our chances of rain are pretty good.Maybe a little rain will chase out the pesky flies.

I don't know how accurate that really is. It's only rained on Saturday since we've been here (since Friday). Check out the local station instead: http://www.wesh.com/weather

We ate at Chef de France Saturday night. We were sadly disappointed in quality, especially considering price. The selections seemed scaled back too.....

Jim just had the lobster roll from HH. He was not impressed at all! BW Bakery was much better. Oh and he had 2 baby duck nibbling at his toes as we ate.

Lol, we spent the day at SAB. I keep looking around wondering who I have been chatting with on DIS for months. DH thinks I'm a nut.

I haven't noticed a fly problem at YC/BC/SAB.

Dee, (as requested) BC Club Lounge has a balcony with two doors overlooking "Ariel's Courtyard" (so says the CM I made tell me all about it!). I took pictures I will forward you (if you send me an email, because I am not patient enough for photobucket). It's nothing fancy, no chairs but I bet they would bring you them if you asked.

May weather is gorgeous. The parks are wonderful. BC is magical. What a great vacation!!! I'm looking forward to writing a TR!

I was on that bus too!! I couldn't believe how quickly and calmly that situation was resolved.

I agree, the weather is perfect! Warm enough to swim but comfortable when trekking the parks. Enjoy the rest of your trip!
