Dee, just wanted to thank you for putting all the information together about room views. I love having a water view room, but couldn't get it at the YC with my new discount I got. We have a standard view, but who cares, I will be at Disney celebrating my retirement for the Walt Disney Company!! Thank you again for all the work you have put into this thread. Where in MA do you live? We just moved to TN from MA in Oct. to be closer to some of my grandchildren!!!

Ok Dis Vet's I have all of our ADR's booked since our 180 day mark except Be our guest for my sister. My niece has her heart set at eating there, this is their first disney trip. I Been checking the disney site about 3xs a day to see if anything is open.

Do you guys think I should be calling instead of relieving on this crazy site. In theory it would be great but it's been wrong so many times. I told her from the beginning her chances of getting in are about 10% because its sooooo popular but we can keep trying.

Soooooo, do you think I should call daily or take the site by its word lol?

My MIL happens lives in Florida, about 15 minutes away from WDW.

We are staying at BC at the end of August. On one of the nights we are there, DH and I have plans to go have dinner without the kids at Epcot. My MIL has offered to come and babysit them in the room for us that night.

I considered the Sandcastle club, but I would prefer to let the kids stay in the room so that they can get some much needed sleep. I have used Kids Nite Out before, and would again, but MIL really wants to spend the extra time alone with her grandchildren.

Can you have a visitor come to the resort for this purpose? Will she be able to park at BC just by saying that she is meeting her family who are resort guests?

I believe that she can do this. My sisters were able to drive over to the BC and park while we were staying at the BCV's. Although they were staying at the Caribbean at the time, but I don't think that matters.

There isn't an issue with having a visitor at the resort.

They may or may not ask her for your name (who reservation is under) when she checks in at the guard's shack. We've had visitors before with no problem. The only time it might be an issue was on a major holiday (New Year's, 4th July).

Had a garden view a good amount of years ago--will try and hunt down the photo ? It overlooked some bushes and a small/narrow walkway that led to the main path to the International Gateway. So, iow, our room was about as close in terms of walking to Epcot as one could get.

I love the garden view that faces the trees and bushes between the BC and Epcot. There is a path that is a shortcut to the walkway closest to the International Gateway. It is quiet and peaceful there, except when the Illuminations is going, then you might be able to see the highest fireworks.

I'm not sure what other areas might be considered garden view.

Absolutely. No problem. Only thing she can't do is go to SAB.

A garden view is a room where you see something "green" when you are looking out from the patio or balcony. It might be a garden, a courtyard or woods.

This would be at night after my kids are in p.j.'s so no chance of them wanting her to take them to SAB anyway. Plus, even if they wanted to go, I doubt she would. In the 24 years that I have known her, I don't think I've ever seen her in a bathing suit or even put so much as a toe in water!

Some do and some do not have full balconies. They are on the first, second, third and fourth floors and of course your key gives you access to the fifth floor for the lounge. The views vary but all are nice in my opinion.

Yes, they do. At least soft drinks. I'm not sure if there is an iced tea dispenser there or not.

I had a friend who stayed in one in December. She was on the second floor by the secret entrance. Her room faced towards Epcot and she could see the high fireworks from there. She had a Juliet balcony (standing room only/no chairs).
