We got back from our WDW vacation three weeks ago so naturally I am anxious to get back to the World and would love to go back in 2012. DH says he wants to do something different next year and would prefer to wait until our youngest is 4yrs/40 inches and when we aren't so stroller dependent  So that means I have to wait until 2013 to go back to Disney :headache: I am so anxious to plan another trip and walk down Main Street again! What do I do in the meantime other than drive myself bananas thinking about WDW? Chances are we will most likely go back in late August again as this works out best for us in terms of value season pricing and promotions that are typically offered for this time period (kids stay/play free, free dining, etc.) Also we struggled with the whole pulling our kids out of school issue and I imagine that two years from now that decision would be even harder with our kids being two years older and having more demanding school work. I think we managed the heat and humidity as best as we could. I think DH was a little bit more annoyed with the demands of handling the heat with all the walking and stroller pushing in the parks, but we still had a great time and said we'd do it again considering the tradeoffs (moderate crowds, value season pricing, our kids not having to miss school, and a promotional offer that saved us a lot of $$$). I keep telling myself that waiting until 2013 is going to be a good thing - Fantasyland should be mostly done and my youngest will be able to enjoy Test Track, Soarin, Splash Mountain, and other bigger rides with his siblings without us always having to do the baby/rider swap. So come on 2013!! Anyone else anxiously waiting for many, many months (in this case, years) to pass?

Also planning our next visit in August 2013!
Our first visit to the World was in March. Absolutely loved it! We can't wait to go back! We had alot of rain, so WDW feels like unfinshed business to us...but could you ever really finish!

I really wanted to go in December, but once I calculated the cost..yike$$$! August it would have to be! (DH is a teacher, so dates are limited)
How long was your stay? Any tips on handling the heat and humidity?
Where did you stay?

I also can't wait to get back to WDW! I know two years will go by fast but not fast enough . We we stayed at AS Music in a family suite, but we will most likely try something different next time. I have been looking into renting a 2 bedroom at Wyndham Bonnett Creek since it is on Disney property although it is not owned or operated by Disney. I will miss the convenience of the dining plan, but I am sure we will be alright. The heat and humidity wasn't as bad as many people on the boards make it out to be. I think it is doable in WDW because there are so many air conditioned attractions and waiting areas, so when you start to feel like a rotisserie chicken (that is how I felt one day while we were waiting for our bus to Hollywood Studios ), air conditioning relief is not far away. We didn't take a lot of afternoon breaks because sometimes we arrived at the parks later in the day, but we managed by drinking a lot of water and we carried those misting fans with us as well. I think the late August crowds were manageable as well.
