You know how you do the "once in a lifetime" trip and then surprise you go back? Well, I'm back with a new Tokyo Disney trip report! Sort of.... :) My husband Trevor had a work trip to Tokyo at the end of October, and so he decided to extend a few days and do a bit of touring around Tokyo, including visiting Tokyo Disney! Trevor's having quite the Disney year - first a solo trip to Disney Paris and now a solo trip to Tokyo Disney! I told him of course I had to write a report for it, so here we are! Trevor takes fewer pictures than I do, so it won't be quite as picture-heavy as mine, but still, lots of pics. :D

The details:
who: just Trevor
when: Fri Oct 31st - Sat Nov 1st
where: Toy Story Hotel

So let's get this started!

Off to Fantasy Springs! - Friday Oct 31 2025 (part 1)

Trevor had spent a couple days exploring Tokyo, but Halloween morning, the plan was to check out, take an uber over to the Toy Story Hotel, and then get all checked in, just in time to enter Tokyo DisneySea via the Fantasy Springs entrance. He planned to spend the day at DisneySea, and then Nov 1st, go to Disneyland with his Happy Entry. But a week or two before he left, we realized that all the Halloween stuff was at Disneyland and would likely be gone on Nov 1st, so he decided to buy a Disneyland ticket too, and hop over to Disneyland to watch the Halloween parade. A busy day!

So he got up and got all packed, including a fit check picture:

Snuggly Duckling shirt! We bought that at Fantasy Springs in May, so way to represent, Trevor. :)

The uber came pretty quickly, and by 9:05, he was passing by the sign!

This is what I mean by Trevor taking fewer pictures than I do - he didn't take a picture of pulling up to the Toy Story hotel or anything! LOL.

He got checked in all fine - I was a bit worried 'cause the hotel reservation was booked under my name but I added him as a representative and I *thought* that should work but wasn't sure. Thankfully it went smoothly, no issue. Phew! Though Trevor did call me after checking in and was like "thank you for doing all the check-ins in May" cause it is kind of a production and fiddly to get checked in - you have to fill out a whole form with your passport info and travel info, etc. Trevor's room wasn't ready yet (unsurprising) but he rearranged his bags, dropped his bags off at bell services, and then bought his park tickets:

One for Disney Sea, one for Disneyland for today, and one for Disneyland for tomorrow. Oh that was another thing that Trevor said was weird about check-in - the CM was asking Trevor what his plans were for the day, and didn't seem to understand that he was going to go to both parks by buying two tickets. Trevor eventually realized she was asking about plans as a lead up to giving him Happy Entry paper for tomorrow at Disneyland, and he was confused as to why she didn't just give him the Happy Entry paper regardless? It's not like Toy Story gets you Happy Entry to DisneySea, and most folks want to have that Happy Entry benefit. *shrugs* She also said Happy Entry started at 8:15, but the park wasn't scheduled to open til 9 am which seemed odd but that was a tomorrow problem.

ANYWAYS! Tickets secured, Trevor left Toy Story hotel to head to the Fantasy Springs entrance:

Bye Toy Story courtyard!

No pictures of the Fantasy Springs entrance, but Trevor said there wasn't really a wait at all, and he got there like one or two minutes before 10 am (which is when the entrance opened up to non-Fantasy Springs hotel folks). His plan was to try and get a paid fastpass for Frozen, if it was still available, and then see what free fastpasses were available. I was a bit worried that there wouldn't be Frozen passes available but there were! He got one for 6:55 pm, but he got distracted because ALL the characters were out!

Then he got to meet him!

Please note that Trevor is wearing his lost boys bear hat that he bought in Fantasy Springs in May and I really love that he's wearing it while meeting Peter Pan. They're fighting pirates in this picture. :) Also, I think this is the same Peter that I met solo back in May, so now we've both gotten to meet him! :)

He also saw Cinderella out, starting to head backstage:

I love her winter costume.

And Elsa!

This is her saying goodbye before heading backstage. :)

Trevor was enjoying looking at the springs again and enjoying the theming in Fantasy Springs -

Sleeping Beauty spring! My favorite. :)

But then, he saw more characters coming out - Ariel and Anna!

I would like to note that the first two in this line are actual characters and the last gal is a guest - Tokyo Disney lets adults dress up in full costume for Halloween and apparently people were TAKING ADVANTAGE with a vengeance. Pretty neat, the effort folks put in.

More Characterpalooza - Friday Oct 31 2025 (part 2)

Trevor decided to follow Anna and see if he could meet her, instead of following Ariel. Though side note from Tiffany - I think it's awesome that Trevor was meeting all the characters. Love it!

Anyways, Anna met over by the Frozen castle:

They set up these little barriers to tell folks where to stand. Not a bad spot -

PXL_20251031_014312244.jpg
Nice views! :)

Anyways, Trevor got called up to meet Peter Pan pretty quickly (since the characters essentially pick who to interact with) - he thought being Western + his birthday button may have helped, but he ended up waiting about 15 minutes to meet Anna. There were lots of folks dressed up as Anna or Elsa that wanted to meet Anna, which makes sense.
PXL_20251031_014432454.jpg
But he did get to meet her! Yay!

After meeting Anna, he decided to head back to see if Ariel was still out and if could meet her. He figured she'd still be out since Anna still was and they came out together, and yup, he was right!
PXL_20251031_014812643.MP.jpg
But basically right after he got there they started taking away the strips/barriers telling folks where to stand, and so he was like oh well and started to leave - but he forgot that they usually do quick selfies all around the folks in the circle so Ariel was like "don't you want a picture?" So that was a pleasant surprise for him. :)

He did find it a bit odd that Ariel has a spring in Fantasy Springs but doesn't meet by it. :)

With that, the plan was to maybe ride a ride, get popcorn or the sausage gyoza, and then make it to the front of the park and head over to Disneyland for the Halloween parade. I told Trevor he could try single rider at Raging Spirits, so he decided to head that way.

Had to take some pics on the way with Skull Rock and Hook's ship, especially cause he's wearing his Lost Boys hat!

And then he hopped in the single rider line for Raging Spirits!

Lucky Trevor, getting all these extra Disney trips! I only get work trips to Sydney and Melbourne so nothing quite as exciting (well, not when I used to live in Melbourne and have lost track of the number of times I've gone to Sydney lol!).

right?! He told me about this one and I was SUPER jealous. Though honestly neither of us have been to Australia so work trips to Sydney and Melbourne sound awesome LOL. But I can imagine that living there makes it less exciting to go on trips there :D

Haha yeah I thought that as I was typing, that you would probably think Sydney and Melbourne are pretty exciting destinations for a work trip. Not so much for me though. Like you going to any major city in the US where you've already spent loads of time. Going to Sydney was exciting the first couple of times, but now I'm over it lol!

Oh yea I'm sure! Maybe work will send you to Tokyo or Orlando! :D

Haha I doubt it. I work in financial services, so we regularly send people to major financial hubs like London, New York and Boston, but I'm only admin so I don't even get to go on those trips, just book them for others lol! The only reason I travel so much for work is that I work remotely in Perth and we only have offices in Sydney and Melbourne.
