Just thought I would mention something to you folks. We were just at BCV Oct 25th thru Nov 2nd and fell in love with the sunken treasures at SAB but with a twist. We started asking to have ours blended, it sure makes for a great slushie.

Just booked YC for next August at an outrageously low price. FYI that *** has their great agency exclusives for 2014 available NOW. Not listed on their site yet, but you can get a quote. I work with Holly B. and she's great. PM me if you want more info.

I got her quote yesterday and am soooooooo Tempted right now. Such am AMAZING price it's really hard to pass up. Even the poly was tempting.

We are heading to the World for a quick trip in February, and was planning on to cruise later in the year! BUT, for the amazing price at BC is REALLY REALLY enticing me.
We fell in love with BC this past August....it'll be hard to stay away for too long.

We have booked club level with a garden view for July at the Yacht Club. First time to an Epcot resort and first time club level....

Do I need to do any room requests on my booking? Do all these rooms have a full balcony? We are 3 adults and a child, a day bed would be nice but not essential as 2 queen size would do.
Thanks for any advice.

According to the notes I have, there are only 5 YC CL GV rooms.

All have full balconies

Two have King beds, 1 has 2 Queens, Two have 2 Queens with a daybed.

All of the rooms with the Queen beds have a lovely view overlooking the wedding gazebo, and the location is generally the same

You can put in a request for a room with a daybed if you wish.




Have any of you stayed in Room 5148 or 5152??? One has a King Bed, the other has 2 Queens, but I don't know which is which.

She hasn't been to Disney World since her honeymoon 40 years ago. I am going to have a blast showing her around. I think the Beach Club is the perfect location for us.

Not much has changed at the World since then!

I think you will both love the Beach Club and the easy access to the World Showcase.

Natebenma, we will be there July 23-29. We are doing our first visit to Universal July 20-23. We have never been to Universal and figured after 13 trips it's about time. We were also disappointed with the YC rooms last year, so we are going to try the BC. We very much enjoyed the Marketplace for their flatbread pizzas. It will be nice to be a little closer. This will also be our first year without doing parks, so we will be spending the majority of our time at the resort. SAB is the favorite of my 3 teenage boys. They could spend all day playing volleyball!!

Where are you staying for the Universal part of the trip?

For our first trip in 2011 we stayed at the Portofino and this past summer we stayed at the Hard Rock (LOVED IT!)

Also, we are booked for pool/lagoon view. Are there any other requests we should make? I am such a newbie when it comes to the Yacht Club...but so excited!

Thanks for the clarification on your dates.

Some of the requests you could make if you want are for a daybed if that would be helpful, or close to lobby/transportation.

All depends on what is important to your family.

Hi all! We made it - flight landed 15 minutes early and we were in the Yacht Club lobby less than an hour later. Our room was ready - perfect 4th floor location with a view of wedding gazebo and lagoon. We're now at SAB - DH and DD are in the pool and I'm about to order a sunken treasure and some lunch!

Dinner at Flying Fish tonight - but.otherwise nothing but relaxation!

Sounds like a great start! Have a fantastic trip.

Good news, Suzy's lump is benign!!!!! The doctor said the lump could be the result of all the radiation she had. I am so relieved and happy right now. Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Breast cancer can strike anyone at any age, please be proactive and do self exams, how Suzy found her first cancerous lump, and get mammograms. That is my PSA for the day.

Now we can go back to being excited about being all together at the Beach Club in just 33 more days!

It was great chatting with you on Sunday You got me thinking that I really need to find a a long weekend to see the Osbourne Lights before they leave and of course... the Candlelight Processional I have two weeks off at Christmas so I am trying to squeeze a few days somewhere

And I owe you a BIG apology, Couchy. My list of things to do had our meet with Teena on Monday not Sunday. So I never got to meet you!! Even though we were both staying on the 4th floor near the quiet pool, even though we exchanged photos, we never crossed paths. I hope that future trips let us meet. Again, sorry I mixed up the days.

I did get to chat with Teena Sunday after you and I talked and again on Monday morning. Silly me never took a photo, though!

Princess in Oz... your photos are WONDERFUL! Thanks for sharing them with us. Our stay found the Solarium packed almost every day. And it was so cold in there that my DH could not stand to stay very long.

Back from our mini vacation at Fort Wilderness Cabins. We loved it. Cabin was super. Loved it so much we booked two nights in early February. And we want to take Jeanne and Lily there in the summer!!!

Back to the Beach Club ... only working Sunday this week. Have lots of doctor/dentist appointments next week.

Glad you all enjoyed your stay at Fort Wilderness, Teena! Again, it was delightful to talk to you again.

Yes, I agree, great service. For our dates next August, the resorts offered are YC/BC, Poly & GF. Would love to stay at WL again, but not an option. :0(

Thinking about changing from deluxe to regular dining plan and adding on a day. We will be club level at the BC so to me it's makes more sense, plus an extra day at Disney is always a good thing. Anyone opinions??
