Just a few more days and we will be WDW bound!!! Finishing up our packing tomorrow, except for the few things that have to be packed day-of.....like phone chargers and hair brushes. Been watching the forecast too....looks like mid 80's and very little chance of rain woo hoo!

Oh wow, We would NOT like sharing a balcony! I am out here right now in my pajama pants! That would freak my hubby out to bad. I have seen those real big balconies. In fact, as I'm out here on my balcony now, I can look to the left and see them. But I didn't know they were SHARED! I have to say we are loving this ability to have our FP+s already booked. We have had some great mornings at BC and YC this trip that were not rushed. Knowing you already have those major rides reserved is great for us! I forgot to add that hubby has now been to 8 of the beverage seminars, he has another one booked today. He LOVES them! The weather is cooler today, since it feels so great, we are going to walk to HS. It really is not a bad walk at all. I rather enjoy it. Gonna spend the first part of the day there. Then Epcot tonight. Really am enjoying sampling all the booths in the evenings. Actually the black pepper shrimp with noodles in Korea has been my favorite! I am torn about whether I like the BC or YC better. Like the full balcony at YC and the YC seems quieter. But having the Marketplace and a place to fill your mugs up is definitely a plus for the BC. I am excited for everyone planning their trips!! This area is the Best for sure!

We will arrive at the Boardwalk in 7 days for one night then head to the Yacht Club for 4 nights. When I first made reservations only the YC was participating the the MB's so I customized them and then about a month ago the website said I could make FP+'s for my 1 night at BWI. So I customized my bands for the BWI. My BWI bands arrived 1st then the next day my YC bands arrived. So I do have 2 sets. I guess I'll have to wait 7 days to find out if I can use the same ones for the entire trip. But hey at least I have 2 colors and now I can color coordinate with my wardrobe.

Your split sounds heavenly!!! The bands aren't really tied to the resort, they are tied to your MDE-part of cloud technology. You can use the same ones (or switch) your entire trip. We had an extra set and brought them along. We ended up popping the extras in the room safe.

Has anyone cut there bands down to make them fit or just removed the outer grey part? Thanks!

I did. I removed the outer grey part. I was wary of doing it at first because it's not reversible, once the grey part is off it's off. But I'm fairly petite (5'2") with thin wrists and when I put it on with the grey part it just seemed too big. So much of the grey band was wrapped around my wrist it was uncomfortable. So I first fastened it so that I was connecting to only the green part, to make sure that would work if I removed the grey, and it did. So I peeled off the grey part and now it fits fine.

I think for many petite women, like me, it should be fine to remove the grey part. Just test it first like I did (connecting to only the holes on the green part).

I agree, you can use all the MB's! We are on our 3rd resort stay for this trip. For example, when I checked into BC, I had a pink one...then for the 3 days at Pop, I had a red one...then checking into YC, I had a blue one. All 3 of these MB's work and I can change them out to color coordinate.

We just got back into our room. HS was PACKED!!! I mean, crazy packed, like I have seen it during 4th of July week! Here is a tip that we have discovered for MK. Go on the days that the MNSSHP is scheduled! It's never busy on those days and you rarely will even need a FP. Most rides are all walk on. Anyway, my son and I are relaxing in the room now while hubby is at his beverage seminar. We have had really good Mousekeeping while here and a towel animal almost every day! While walking back from HS, I really paid attention to the balconies, and I did see 3 (but only 3!) that have the small balconies like you see at BC. They were kinda on a corner on the lagoon side of the resort. I would think the chances of getting these small balconies would be very, very slim. I wish I knew how to post pics on here from my cell phone and I would post some of these. I have a Samsung Galaxy II if anyone can help! Our room does have a daybed as well that my son loves sleeping in. The room we had at the BC had one, too. I had to do laundry the other day here and the dryers at the YC dried the clothes faster and better than the one at BC. Any questions anyone has, let me know!

I believe those small balconies you are talking about at YC are actually part of suites and not a single room. Yes, the suite has a Juliet balcony but also has three other full balconies. If they were near the turret then that is the case.

My Family and I will be staying at BC June 1-7 2014! It's my first time at one of the EP resorts and I am super excited. Will be Me, DD14, my DM who lives with us, and my Finace. It's her first time going to DW and we are SO excited to show it to her. From the look of this thread, the pictures, etc. I couldn't have picked a better resort for her first time!

Did the magicband really work to unlock your door a BC? Will be there on Monday with magicbands in hand. I've been explaining to Mom that I think the room will just unlock when she gets to the door of the room. Also, we're moving to WL at end of week and I assume that same bands will work there.

It really worked for me unlocking the door! You had to hold it up to the Mickey head so it would be Mickey head on Magic Band to Mickey Head on door. Same for the park entrance... Mickey head to Mickey head.. remember that and you are set!!

Yep they had a wall of stuff... located by the back register in the clothes section.

I also have read that some people are getting a free accessory when they check in at their resort. I wonder if BC is doing this? I think it is called a bandit?!?

The free accessory is the year 2013 glows in the dark! I saw a lot of them, but didn't know where they got them... then I heard when I got home that the front desk had them if you asked, so worth the ask when you arrive!

I won't be back until the 1st and then back to work on November 3rd and 4th. Sorry I'm going to miss you!!! Hope you have a super time.

Although it's only been about seven weeks, it feels like forever since I've had my hands on that child. And skyping with her regularly actually makes it harder, especially when she cries when we hang up.

Just this past week she started talking in real sentences. And it's pretty non-stop!!
