Hello BC/YC fans! Just returned from 2.5 weeks in California and can't believe how fast this new thread has grown! Thanks again to Dee!
Just a few OT notes regarding DL and runDisney - had a great time at the inaugural Disneyland 10K. I can see how the runDisney addiction develops! (But wow - those crowds do slow the pace. My training run times were much faster, but least I have a proof of time for the Princess Half in February.) Cars Land was great fun - loved Radiator Springs Racers. Still love the Grand Californian Hotel and now I think we're hooked on cabana rentals at the pool - that was WONDERFUL! Napa Rose is still an outstanding restaurant and Trader Sams is a ton of fun - hope the rumors that they will open one at Poly are true! A CM asked our family to open the park at California Adventure, so now we've had the opportunity to open both Disneyland and California Adventure - yay! Still have a strong preference for WDW, but great to get in a couple Disney days during our time at the beach.
P.S. Happy to get all of our ADRs for February! We were on west coast time on our 180 day mark, so I didn't call in as early as usual, but it still worked out: Garden Grill, Liberty Tree, Le Cellier, Chefs de France, Flying Fish and Via Napoli. So excited!
I'll try to catch up!
