Hi BC experts- We arrive 11/22 for our first stay at the BC. We land about 1:15 and are renting a car. We're planning to do MVMCP that night.

Does anyone have a recommendation for a QS late lunch/early dinner? One thought is to stop at DTD and try Earl of Sandwich, or we could go straight to BC and eat at HH, or even do one of the QS at the MK.

Thanks in advance!

I'm back with another update.

Today has been a shopping day, we didn't wake till 8:20, now this is late for us!

DH saw some jumpers and a coat in RL so cheap aswell, one jumper was $70 -40%, there giving them away.

Post again soon. Happy Halloween.
I love hearing about your trip. Thank you for posting the great update! :)
If I hadn't been a Harry Potter fan I wouldn't have known that a jumper is a sweater. ;) It sounds like you got some great bargains. :goodvibes

If you want the meal to be your big meal of the day, then I wouldn't eat at the Marketplace. The food choices are extremely limited. Hurricane Hannah's is okay, but I would only eat there if I wanted the typical lunch food. Earl of Sandwich would be a great choice, I think, if you want a counter service meal. We've never eaten there but I have heard good things about the restaurant.

But if you decide that you would rather head off to the BC from the airport you might want to consider Beaches and Cream or the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk. For the amount of time you spend trying to park at DTD, you could get a nice table service lunch. :) We always go into Epcot for lunch on arrival day, but then we always buy park hoppers for the length of stay.

Thanks- Good point about parking at DTD. I didn't think about B&C- will check out the menu. I think the male half of the family will be spending Sunday at ESPN.

Earl of Sandwich is amazing and inexpensive! If you really want to just get to your resort first I would agree with PP and do Beaches and Cream or ESPN. Both are great.:flower3:

Tomorrow is the Sunrise Safari and then back to Epcot to eat/drink around the world some more then back to the hotel to meet Pinote!

By the time I read this you were on Sunrise Safari. I slept to 7:15 this morning! Unheard of…..Sounds like you are having a great time.

Tonight I pack up and we head to the airport before Jeanne goes into school tomorrow morning. It was a wonderful trip. The thought of not seeing my two girls until December 26th is bringing tears to my eyes but between our Hawaii cruise and my PA friend coming for a 7 night visit, time will fly by I'm sure.
"

It's not really a good-by Teena. More of a see you later. Sounds like y'all had a wonderful time (as usual with your girls)!

We will be at the World Nov 16th to 24th. (OKW till the 20th and then the checking in BC on the 20th). Hoping to see you then.

I'm really surprised. I've never had that kind of a response from a CM at Disneyland and I've been going for many, many years. I love Disney World, but there is just something special about Disneyland. I'm sorry it's not that way for you. I think sometimes it's just the luck of the draw for CMs. I've had that kind of experience at Disney World and even at the Beach Club on this last visit, but I just chalk it up to a few bad apples in a huge basket of good ones, because as we know there are many CMs like you and all the other wonderful ones at Disney World! I hope your next visit to Disneyland is as magical as Walt meant it to be.

I'm sure you are right. We'll go again next October over Jeanne's 3 day weekend. And Lily had a wonderful time with the characters ... that's all that really counts.

I'll be working that Sunday and Monday (11/17-18) and then on the 20th we fly to San Diego. Will you be over to the BC for a meal perhaps on those days? Sure would hate to miss you!!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEE!!!! We all are so lucky to have you as our leader and care giver on this threadpixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:!!!!!

Happy Halloween!!!!! And Happy Birthday Dee!!!!!!!

Thanks for checking in about your first day. Hope the rest of your trip is fantastic!!!
thanks for the well wishes Dee!

Thank you all for your support. Biopsy went ok, results should be in by Thursday when Suzy meets with her oncologist. Really praying for good news. She is hoping for no more chemo and radiation.

On the flip side, only 35 more days until our family trip!

Sending prayers your way! I'm a social worker on the cancer unit of my hospital, your daughter is so blessed to have such a supportive family. I know it makes a difference in treatment, care & recovery! You sound like an awesome mom who is there for her daughter!!!

Hi from the beach Club.
Sorry it's been days since I last posted who we had arrived, we've been hitting the parks hard!

So here is an update on our last few days:

Thursday was our first full day and we started off with breakfast at 8am at Cape May. we arrived a bit early as we had been up since 5:30!! but got straight in.
DD2 did not like the characters at all, she screamed and hid under the table!
Breakfast was lovely and filling. We headed out for Epcot and had FP+ for Soarin. I rode with DD10 first then DH went with her. By 9:30am all the FP's were gone and the stand by was 70min!!!
Next we did living land then picked up our PP+ card.
Then TT, FP's were gone again by 10:30 and wait was 40mins, again DD10 and me then DH. It was our first time on the new TT and I thought it was just ok.
I had the character spot booked next but as DD2 was not into the characters I decided against it.
We just headed round the world after that and back to the hotel for a swim, but it was coooold.
We had dinner reservations at PH tonight. The bus getting there was about 15mins full bus and had to stand but coming back was 40!!!
Off to bed by 9:30 DD2 had fell asleep at DTD and stayed asleep all the way home, luckily the bus was empty and we had a seat.

Friday was DHS, we got there just after 8 and by the time we got to TTM the FP time was late evening and wait was 45mins. We had FP+ for after breakfast so we just headed to muppets then round to H&V, a bit early but got straight in.
Breakfast was ok, DD2 was excited to see OsO but when he came to our table she was under it!!
After breakfast we waited for our FP for playhouse disney, glad we had this as the show we were in had to close the line off as it was full in seconds.
Ariel show was an hour wait so we left that for another day. RnRC was 30-40 mins throughout the day so again we left that. We had FP+ for ToT but this seemed to be a long line, a lot quicker than the 60min wait tho.
We've noticed that the crowds this year are busier than last time we were here, the wait times some people are doing is crazy.
We did our FP+ for TsM then star tours a couple of times.
It was warmer today so we headed back to the pool. DD10 is loving the pool activities.
We ate at HH for a quick burger then into Epcot and went on Nemo, crush then I went back to the room with a sleeping DD2 whilst DH and other DD watched the movie on the beach, Hocus Pocus.
Forgot to say we can see the fireworks from our room!
Bed again by 9:30!

Will post the other days soon, getting ready now to have dinner at 'Ohana. We picked our car up today from the Dolphin, very easy and Valet even put the car seat in for us.

Does anyone know how long the car ride should be to the Poly as sat nab says 40mins!?

Thanks for following.

Any questions I will try my best to answer.

This is great news!! Your PSA is greatly appreciated and people always need to be reminded... I do the same when it comes to SUNSCREEN!! After a scare with skin cancer I PREACH SUNSCREEN... SOOOOOO all you people headed to SUNNY Fla don't forget the SUNSCREEN!

Now.. HELLO from SUNNY Fla! I arrived at AKL CL at 10am this morning and my room was ready by 10:30 am LOVE IT! Headed over to EPCOT to eat/drink my way around the world... soooo good! I'm now back at the hotel headed to bed... 3am came so early! Tomorrow is the Sunrise Safari and then back to Epcot to eat/drink around the world some more then back to the hotel to meet Pinote! Gotta say as much as I love YC/BC I love AKL equally! Some say it's so far away, but I don't think it's really that far. I loved coming home tonight and hearing all the kids with the musical instruments!! Good times!

Ok nighty nite! Safe travels to all headed this way and continued fun to those here!

~N

I hope you had great travels! How was the safari?

I'm back with another update.

Monday was EMH AK

We headed straight for the Safari ride and was very confused as the wait time at 8:05 was 40mins!! A quick chat the the CM and he advised it didn't oped till 8:30 but we could get tin line now. We did and we're on the 2nd truck by 8:25, it took a while to complete the safari trip as those cheeky giraffe kept on stopping in the middle of the road!
By the time we had finished it was 9 and we had a FP+ for the safari again. We didn't want to ride again so stopped at the FP kiosk and a CM changed it for the Dinosaur later in the day. We had breakfast booked for 9:50 at Tusker House but checked in early. We got our picture taken with Donald and realised we had forgotten the PP+!
I explained that it was back at the hotel and the photo guy said to write the time and location down and when we got back to the hotel, go to the photo pass desk and they can add it on.
We were seated very soon after that and went for food, it was good, very good, the characters came round, DD2 still a bit unsure but we did manage to get the family picture with Donald.
When the picture pack came round I explained again the situation but the guy asked if I had taken a picture of the PP card, yes I did, I showed it to him and he said he will go sort it out and be back, he came back with the printed pack and gave it to me!!
After this we went to EE, we had FP+ for this but also grabbed a regular FP, DD10 rode it for the first time and with rider switch she ride 4 times, now we didn't have our PP+ card so had the CM write the number of each photo down and we had to get them added on at Guest relations in any park within 48 hours.
Next we headed to Dinoland and rode the 2 main rides there a few times, then onto Nemo. I wasn't going to FP+ this but glad I did! we got right at the front center next to the stage! great seats. DD2 loved it.
Off to ride Dinosaur, another forts for DD10 and she liked it so rode again with DH. Again the photo numbers were written down to be added on.
We stopped and had ice cream before heading out as it was getting on a bit and we had 50'sPT at 5:20.
Bus back via BB,a quick stop at reception to see if they could ring DHS lost and found as DD2 lost her MB last night there! They suggested that if I were going there now, to ask myself. No worries, I will. Well back in the room, DH was looking for the PP card and he found it along with the missing MB!
Quick change and off out again on the boat to DHS, I stopped at the photo shop and gave the girl the numbers of the rides from AK and she noted what we were wearing and who was in the photo and that they should be on in 48hours(I've not checked yet!)
Tea at 50'swas great, pot roast was yummy and the pork chop was nice too.
Rode Star tours then went home.

Tuesday was Epcot, it had EMh and I had planned to get there for 8 but after seeing how busy it's been I just left it and waiting until our breakfast time at Norway, I had FP anyway for TT and Soarin.
We headed out about 9:15 and got to Norway 9:30,checked in and encountered our first wait, got seated about 10:10.
Food was just ok. I never got to the pastries and fruit, our server never brought plated for our hot platter and he filled my tea with coffee!!
The princesses we're good, lots of interaction, but for the cost (free dining thank goodness) I would not pay oop.
We rode the ride in Norway and by now it was time for our FP for Soarin, I asked DD10 if she would prefer to go round the worlds instead and to her kid cot with DD2, she decided on this so I cancelled Soarin.we did most of the worlds, taking time to look into them and see things I've never noticed before like the little warriors in china and the bazaar in Morocco. We had to miss England and Canada and the FP+ for TT was almost up.
After TT we had a cool frozen drink then went it inventions then SE, I hadn't done SE in years and it was actually quite good, we all enjoyed it, especially the end!
We had to start walking back to the hotel now as we had a car pick up from the Dolphin, walked over and was given a Ford Escape, new, clean and car seat was decent. Luckily the valet guy knew how to put it in!
Another quick change and drive over to the Poly for 'Ohana. WOW. That's it WOW. Best meal so far, DD10 didn't want anything so they brought her a plate of chicken nuggets and fries. DD2 loved them too!
I had a Lapu Lapu, always wanted one, don't think I would get another at $15 a go!
Walked down to the beach and the kids had fun in the sand, saw the electrical water parade then the Halloween fireworks, they even pipped the Halloween music through.
It was 10:45 now and this is waaaaaay past our bed time!
DD2 fell asleep in the car and we went straight to bed.

Today has been a shopping day, we didn't wake till 8:20, now this is late for us!
Grabbed breakfast after a lazy wake up and headed to Prime Outlets in lake Buenavista. Saw a few things we liked but we always try and wait till we've been to the one on Idrive and macys in the mall at mellenia.
I got a top and dress from DKNY, $53 from $200, DD2 got a winter coat from Ralph Lauren $60 from $100, and some fudge! Which was amazing!
DH saw some jumpers and a coat in RL so cheap aswell, one jumper was $70 -40%, there giving them away.
Then DH was in TAG and wanted to show me a watch he saw, big mistake as now I have see ad watch! We've already got tags but in need of an upgrade I think. Let's see if we get them!
Headed out and to walmart next as DD10 wanted more monster high, she did get the headless horseman in toys r us which I haven't seen over in the UK plus a few others I said we would go back for, again, so cheap.
Back home and we had dinner at Garden Grill In Epcot. Made it just in time, again another nice meal. Rode Soarin then headed to morocco to view illuminations, it was a great spot, no one in front of us, DD2 was not too keen on the noise but lasted till the end. Bought her a Duffy bear for being brave but she fell asleep so she'll get it in the morning.

Off to bed now as it's MK EMH tomorrow, might just get there for 9 when the FP+ starts.

Post again soon. Happy Halloween.

We're looking forward to Ohanas tomorrow, this will be DHs 1st visit, you've got me excited!! You also have me wanting to shop.....

Hi to all you wonderful BC & YC fans! We got back early yesterday from our YC and Poly split. We had a fantastic time at the YC...I think it is "officially" our preference over BC. I appreciate the quiet and peace of it, to be honest, it lets us unwind and recover from the stimulation and crowds! Plus, i love the decor of the rooms. I posted before we left that I had added a night but had to change booking categories for the one night. It wasn't an issue. Upon arrival, our two reservations were already connected despite the category difference and we were told we could stay in the same room (yahoo...just a quick check in the next morning and we were done). We were in GV room 3100 with view of quiet pool to left and tennis court to right. It had a daybed so suited us perfectly and also was a short walk to elevators. Will post in room view thread eventually.

Got to try a Sunken Treasure (or few) while boys swam. Fabulous!

It was crazy crowded our first couple days (the weekend of the 20th) and hot but heat and crowds improved greatly as week went on except WS which was nuts every time we stepped in, as expected. :)

Had just a couple issues with MBs. Each of us was randomly rejected at front gates at one time or another but CMs with iPads checked and got us on our way quickly. Someone else's meal from 'Ohana made it onto our room bill at the Poly.

We celebrated my birthday (happy birthday, fellow late Octoberite Dee :)) while there and I felt like a kid again. So much fun. As we were on the family raft ride Teamboat Springs at Blizzard Beach, my middle DS said, "Mom, lets come here for your birthday every year!" HECK YEAH, I wish!

Anyway, sorry so long. This thread is always immensely helpful to me and fun to read. Time to pout cuz I have nothing Disney to plan. :(

We having such a good trip! So here's some more updates:

Day 2 was tue 10/29:

We started day with walk up breakfast at Captains Grille, we had breakfast buffet. The cm was so nice & she gave us a happy anniversary balloon tied to a small bag of taffy with a card with pic of Belle & the Beast.

Then we headed over to AK, which just didn't start all that magical. We preordered photo pass, so there was a photographer outside of park prior to ticket enterance & got some photos. We headed in & there were NO PHOTOGRAPHERS the whole way down the hill to the tree of life! Normally there's tons, so I asked a cm next to the ride wait list where they were & she shrugged her shoulders & then pointed there's one. My DH approached him & asked for a pic & he told us no as he wasn't taking pics then & walked away from us. The CM saw this & said oh we'll I guess there's no pics today. Mind you this was 930& parked just opened at 9. I asked if she could call someone & she said they'd just say there's no one & to us to walk back to guest relations, which I was no going to do. So asked her is there anything you can do to help & she said no. So we left. Just started off AK on wrong foot, which is which I think I ended up with the worst blisters ever, lol :lmao:!

We headed to the safari & had only a 10 min wait, then did birds of wonders for the 1st time which was really cool, then Yak & Yeti for lunch & then rapids water ride. We did a little shopping & left as my feet hurt so bad

We came back to BC for a hour & then headed to DHS as we had fast pass + for Star Tours (ended up walk on so did it 2x), the Toy Story Mania, then the Great Movie Ride & picked up Carmel apples at bakey for hotel.

We had ADR at 7p for Brown Derby & it was delicious. We have new TIW & it was so nice, I had 2 appetizers for dinner (Cobb salad was one of of course!) & we had 2 orders we shared of the margarita flight which was awesome & only $11. It had one tadional marg, one mango & one pomegranate. I'm not a marg drinker & loved it, hence the 2nd one.DH had streling pork chop & loved it. Our awesome waiter Remy also brought us out free wine flutes for our Anniversay.

The only thing I'd have done different was have dinner ADR at 630 instead because we were exiting right as Fantasmic was exiting so boat had very long wait. HS closed at 730 that night, but really doesn't close until after Fantasmic.

Angeejoe, there were no PP photogs at our rope drop arrival at AK late last week. Thought it was totally strange. There were some when we left at 4 pm though.

Angeejoe, there were no PP photogs at our rope drop arrival at AK late last week. Thought it was totally strange. There were some when we left at 4 pm though.

Isn't that so strange? The tree of life is the symbol of AK & no photographers at the entrance? There were some when we left, but who wants there pic taken after walking around all sweaty, with crazy ride hair & wet from a water ride? Um not me! If I wanted a bad pic of me I'd take a selfie in the am before my shower for free :rotfl2:! I'd look about the same! :lmao:

Anyone need to know anything while I'm here?

Day 3 update: Wed 10/29

We headed over to MK & arrived just after 9a & had some photo pass pic. We had fast pass + but really didn't need them, our 1st ride was supposed to be POTC, but ride was down. We got some pics with cowboy Chip &Dale. We headed to Haunted Mansion & used the plus & bypassed a few people. Next was Philharmagic which was only a wait until next show, so like 10 min wait. Then had paper fast past for new fairly tale hall & had pic with Rapunzel & Snow White- though they had tons of problems with their machine readers for both the card & the bands, I worry those pics may be lost. The photographer said, I think I need a new machine this one hasn't been working right all morning:crazy2:!

We stopped at BOG as my fast pass reservation disappeared off of MDE that am, but had been there Monday when I checked. The CM found it, & said it would be fine until we returned. We headed to Gastons tavern & had Le Fou's brew, OMG WE LOVED IT! I've seen lots of people that thought it was too sweet, DH & I loved it. Next we hit Little Mermaid ride which was also walk on. Went back to BOG, we had preordered, so it was really easy & just sat down in ballroom in front of the snow fall windows. DH loved it!

We went back around for POTC as one of DHs favs & stopped for a Dole Whip, yum! We headed out then & was back in room at 2:30.

We got suited up, hehe, & when for a lazy swim at SAB! It's just so relaxing to float. I do have to say that I'm not a big fan of the free intertubes as they're everywhere in the water empty & they run into u. Also more people use them because they're free & they run right into you, not really anyone's fault. I think they should be kept up until in use, just to free up pool space, but keep them free. My 2 cents.

We did F&W last night, my aunt from CA that I haven't seen since last year May for dads funeral, was unexpectedly in town for work. She texted me she was in town & we met up at Epcot. We ate at France, Belgium, Florida, Hops & Barley, Poland & Germany between the 3 of us. We watch Smashmouth & Illuminations. We saw 2 people get engaged, one was during Smashmouth Concert. Very cool! We had Great night!

Day 4: Today!

This is our lazy day, we slept in. I relaxed on balcony ( one my fav things). We had ESPN for lunch, waitress accident spilled my beer on me, my phone, & glasses- everything was fine & phone worked- she gave me my 2nd beer for free. Then we went to Boardwalk Bakery for dessert & ate it watching crescent lake on a bench. Stopped in gift shop & came back for nap. Now we're getting ready for 1st MNSSHP! So excited!

Hi everyone! I need some BC/YC expert information! I have looked through this thread but I must have overlooked some details. We normally stay at the Poly but with all the unkowns with construction next Summer we are looking for a new resort. We are travelling next June and it will be 5 year old daughter, husband and mother-in-law. MIL is from Greece and has never been to Disney so we really want her to have the most magical experience! So here are my questions. Any info and feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

1-If we book a BC Deluxe room do they have full balconies?

2-Are the deluxe rooms a far distance from the lounge? I've read some are a trek and it's turned me away a bit based on the description. We aren't lazy but we definitely want a convenient lounge!

3-Is the BC lounge getting renovated for more space? Thought I read that, now I can't find it.

4-What are your thoughts on the pool with a 5 year old? Is most of it shallow? One of her favorite parts of vacation is the pool, so SAB should be awesome for her, right?

5-How is the ambience at night? May sound silly but that's one of my favorite things about the Poly.

6-Can you see the fireworks from the concierge club, beach, balconies or pool?

7-Are there hammocks on the beach? It's a weird family vacation tradition. :rolleyes1

DD is not that into Epcot, her favorite is Magic Kingdom so this will be a big change for us. Sorry for all the questions, there is just not a better source than all the experts on this board!! We currently have RPC at Grand Floridian booked but I just can't get passed the room décor. :rotfl: Plus I don't think I want to look at the Poly and wish I was staying there instead!

Thank y'all in advance for your time to respond!!

Today was Halloween.
We had planned to get to MK for EMH at 8am but the kids were still sleeping at 7:20, make the most of it as on,y a few days ago DD2 was waking at 6am!!
So we got ready and made our way to the bus stop, even tho we had the car, we didn't want the hassle of parking a TTC but saying that, by the time we waited for a bus we could have probably been at the TTC!
We arrived at the gates 8:55 and I was expecting to get lost amongst the non disney guests waiting to enter at 9. There was no one there, walked through bag check, no ques at the entrance, where was everyone?!
Walked down a pretty empty Main Street and got a few PP pictures. Today was all about tommorowland and New fantasy land as the last 2 days we had at MK were the other side.
We walked straight in Buzz, did it twice, straight on Astro orbiter, walked straight into Stitch, DH took DD2 back onto Buzz twice while we were in there, then straight into Monsters laugh floor, where was everyone? It was empty. DD10 did the race cars twice and I did a walk on the teacups twice with DD2 and went and got FP for Ariel.
Pooh bear had just reopened as we met back up and we walked right on, next was dumbo, again walk on, DD10 wanted to play a bit in the tent play area but we were ushered right onto the ride. Then came Goofy's barnstormer, walk on, I had FP+ for this and for the race cars but didn't use them! I tried to change to something else but nothing I really needed to use them on.
After Goofy we went into big top treats and all got something chocolatey, DH had the chocolate covered pineapple spear, really good. I had a red velvet Mickey cake pop, DD10 got the sugar orange chocolate cake pop and DD2 got a Mickey shortbread. Used up some snack credits on these.
Onto under the sea with Ariel, I had my FP and the stand by said 20mins,it was not, it was a walk on, we could have rode it loads of times but we had Tales with Belle.
Now this is the only FP+ that really made a difference! the wait time was 40 mins and was about right, they only have about 45 people max in each show and it lasts about 20 mins, we walked right into the next show in less than 5 mins. It was really good, DD10 got to play a part and at the end they get a picture with Belle to retrieve via the PPwebsite. We were heading out the park now as we had lunch reservations at WL WC but not before another walk on the carrousel. As we were walking down Main Street, the dance parade was on so we watched that. Left the park at about 12:40 so we got quite a bit done this morning.
Caught the boat to WL, got there about 1pm and had a lovely lunch at WC, it was so much fun, DH finished his coke so the server brought out a gigantic glass that had about 6 pints in!
Then DD10 asked for ketchup and we ended up with 8 bottles! she then had to take them to the next table that shouted for ketchup.
We decided we would definitely return here if we have time.

Back at the hotel we decided to hit the pool for a bit, DD10 wanted to do the Halloween activities the BC had on so we only had about 45 mins in the pool.
Quick change into their Halloween costumes and we went trick or treating round the BC at 5pm, got picture taken with Halloween Minnie and Goofy, got loads of candy and a CM said to head over to the BW as they had parties on and more candy.
So over we went and wee were there till 8:30. They had loads of games with little prizes and candy, a DJ and dance parties, another picture with halloween Donald, we all agreed we had a really good time, DD10 said it was better than the MNSSHP we did last time! Even DD2 was joining in with all the games, she's really come out her shell a bit now, we got a few good pictures.
We got the boat back to BC and have just watched Illuminations from our balcony with a nice cold Smirnoff ice! Lol

All in all we've had a really good day and the BC and BW Halloween activities were excellent.

Tomorrow is breakfast with Chef Mickey then shopping.

Post again soon.

By the time I read this you were on Sunrise Safari. I slept to 7:15 this morning! Unheard of…..Sounds like you are having a great time.

I am having a good time! My trip of things never done continues tomorrow with the Dolphin Experience!

Angeejoe The safari is amazing... was a little different then the last time I took it, but still really good!

Today's fun included but is not limited to the following:

I met PNO4TE and her husband Bob! Really nice people we've shared lots of conversation in the lounge.

Eating and drinking around the world continues tomorrow... so much to try! My favorite so far happened today... a frozen s'more which was a drink and so tasty!! Tomorrow I might actually get the kimche dog from Korea... 2 days now and I haven't tried it yet... TOMORROW for sure. Rumor is it's the best thing at food and wine... I'll give it a try tomorrow!

Ok off to bed to rest for Dolphin Experience, another day of eating around the world and the last night of MNSSHP!

Hope you've had an amazing bday Dee!

I'll take a stab at what I know.

Balconies- not sure about what deluxe room have full balconies or distance from lounge, sorry. We stayed in a regular CL room on that floor.

Lounge refurb, yes it is getting renovated. Not sure if the dates.

Evening ambience- I think it's quite nice! And they have marshmallow roast and movies on the beach. We enjoy strolling over to the Boardwalk at night too.

No hammocks on the beach sorry. But they do have a couple of the benches that swing like at Poly.

SAB is great. They have a large shallow area with sand. Also a small slide. There are life jackets available too.

No you can't see fireworks from CL lounge, but I could see them from our room, so depends on where your room faces. you can also see the higher ones from the pool, or take a little walk, toward Epcot there is a bridge that goes over to BWI which is a great spot to watch from.

Maybe your dd will discover things she likes at Epcot this trip! There are lots of things for younger kids. Also DHS is a walk or boat ride away, and they have lots of things for young ones there, including some great shows like Beauty & the Beast and Voyage of the Little Mermaid, muppets, etc.

Last August we did a split with GF & YC. Also stayed at BC. Both are great resorts. It was our first time at GF, and we thought it was great. Can't go wrong with either.

I am having a good time! My trip of things never done continues tomorrow with the Dolphin Experience!

Oooooo, a frozen s'more sounds so good, yum. We lived the Sunrise Safari. I'll never forget hearing the lions roaring! Amazing.
Kimchi Dog sounds interesting. There is a food truck here that parks in front of the school. Japa Dog!! They have Kimche Dogs among other things. I may have to try!
