OMG! So I am officially less than one year away from wedding day! 363 days til Jan 14, 2012! Sorry! I got excited! Disney took my parents (haha) money for deposit this past week!

How exciting! Congratulations!!!

I have been speaking to Bill, he penciled us in for SBP on the date/time we wanted, but said that the ADH was too big for our party. Anyone know how many people we should have to be able to use the venue? He recommended the Boardwalk conference center which doesn't sound like somewhere I would want my reception? I haven't read anyone talking about it either.. any suggestions? We can give our deposit on Feb. 24.

I'm not a DFTW bride but I *think* I've heard that ADH is for 100+ people? How many people are you planning for? We're going to have about 50 and we're considering Narcoosees at the GF (for a lunch reception so we'd have it all to ourselves), some of the signature restaurants @ Swan and Dolphin & Whitehall @ the GF (I think the max is 50 people here?). Cali grill seems to be popular and there are 2 private rooms there, I think the bigger one is for 50ish people?

That's awesome!!! Where in Wisconsin are you? We are actually getting married 2 days after DF's birthday. I tease him all the time that I will only have to get him one gift every year. LOL!!

haha! My fiance and I celebrate our dating anniversary (I guess that will change next year!) the day after HIS birthday--- and I *do* only get him one gift!!! And I'm in Milwaukee (I'm a grad student at MU)--- whereabouts are you in this cold state?

Right now its about 70, but the list keeps getting bigger. & I just read a thread about ADH and the brides there had 80.. so idk. Bill sent me pictures of the conference center & it isn't as bad as I imagined. LOL.

We are in Sheboygan. It's about an hour north of Milwaukee. So glad we didn't get the snow they thought yesterday. We only got about an inch compared to the 3-4 they predicted!!!

Hi everyone!!!!

I had originally wanted 11/11/11 but my Mum thinks it's too soon and won't give us enough time to plan...

So I think we have decided on 1/29/12 - that was our first vacation as a couple (of course to Disney!!!) and the day he proposed...

Hoping for WP and not sure of reception - hoping around 5 pm....

Looking forward to seeing everyones planning (I feel like I have a million things to do!!!!!)

How I wish I was getting married - I would have loved to have my wedding in Disney!! My daughter and stepdaughter are both at the age but I don't think they would want a Disney wedding. It must be the most beautiful magical wedding you could have. Good Luck and Congrats to all the new brides.

Another leap year bride!!! Do you know what venues you might be using? We have decided on SBP and Sago Cay.

We are gonna do a wedding here at home in WV, my DREAM would be to do it at disney but would never have that much money Plus we both have large families and wouldnt want to leave anybody out!! But we will be doing our honeymoon at Disney world this will be our first time for both of us to even florida I am so excited!!! we dont even know where to start!! we are young I am 23 and fiance 22 and I am a stay at home mom so we dont have alot of money at all!! and will be paying for it all by ourselves!! we plan to register so people can help us out a lil bit!! we are pretty sure we want to do a dining plan. And we want to be in a nice hotel at disney thats all we know!! we want to go one step above the value i think they are called. How do you know which parks have the magic hours on which days?? I'm so lost!! and I really wana eat at the rainforest cafe but I dont think thats on the dining plan Idk what to do to even start
