2012 Free Dining Watch and Wait HERE

Stupid question....but is there a free Disney Dining Plan promotion for those that are visiting in the end of July to the 1st week of August in 2012?

This year's released dates for free dining (currently only for Disney Visa cardholders) is August 25th - September 29th. And the package has to be booked my May 19th.

I will be waking at 6:30 just to be on the phone at 5 till seven hoping to book 2 rooms with FD at the CBR

I am hoping for 4 rooms at a value resort of some sort! And I won't be able to be back home to make calls until 8. So I am hoping that I can either book before I leave at 7 on the computer or I will have to call when I get home at 8!

Unfortunately, the answer is no. In order to get free dining, your check-in day has to be a covered date. So if you were to check in on the last available date for free dining, you could get it for up to 14 nights, but it does not work the other way around.

I'm confused as it's only 4AM CST and I'm reading an email that is making me go up & down for joy but getting conflicting info.

Got an email that says...
Disney has offered a Free Dining Promotion to guests booking a Disney vacation package for check-ins August 25th, 2012 through September 29, 2012.

But got an early email last week that said the SAME thing but only that is was for DISNEY VISA CARD HOLDERS.

So has DISNEY opened up the free dinning to everyone starting today? 05 MAR 2012?

On disboards.com and one other, I am getting a banner ad for the FREE DINING PLAN. However, when I click on it, it takes me to the disney.com special offers page, but WITHOUT any mention of free dining!
