Thank you so much for posting this! I had a wait time estimate of 60 minutes and I was panicking because that would make me late for work.
For anyone curious, I got a message that POFQ had no available rooms for the FD offer. However, my very close second choice was CBR and they still had the standard rooms available for FD. There also appeared to be rooms still at POR for anyone interested, though I thought I'd heard no standard available there. So very excited!
Steeler... With so little available at the values, I wonder if Disney will be upgrading you to Saratoga Springs or Old Key West as they have done in the past.
We went from a standard value to a one bedroom villa at Saratoga one year. Now that's an upgrade!
Going 9/3-9/9. I had a reservation at POP already. Called at about 7:10 and was on hold for 45 minutes like they said. Talked to a really nice lady! Tried to get POP but no rooms available so I asked about All-Star. She said all three were available and I jumped on Movies! She did want to upgrade us to basic dining plan, which I'm sure they try to do all the time but it was okay for ust cause we wanted to do that anyway.
I personally couldn't do Aug 25th or later with free dining if I even wanted too... My kid starts school in mid/late august... it's june or bust for us.

I can't either and I've been saying lots of UN-Disneylike words all weekend out of this frustration. We miss it by ONE week. Im seriously thinking about canceling the QS DP that I have purchased, because the more I think about it, I'd rather save the $700 (which is what 2-rooms worth of QS would cost me). I think in reality , knowing my family's eating habits, I could save a couple hundred dollars off that total by paying OOP.

I'm in the same boat but I still pull the kids out for 1 week and have the teachers give me all the homeworks/study guides for that week. We spend 2 days doing the work as well as each day having a 1-2 hour "school session" as well.
Growing up my parents would take me during JUNE or JULY to the parks and looking back at it all I remember is the llllllooooonnnnggggggg times, the extreme heat and how busy everything was. When I finally took my little ones 2 years ago in SEP it was a way different world! No crowds, no lines, no rushing to try and do everything.
We had a standard room booked at POR already and when I tried to add fd they said all those rooms were gone, so I had to upgrade to a garden view room. $50 more. C'est la vie. Very nice CM, but did have to wait 40 minutes. Thank goodness for speaker phone. Good luck everyone!
I said thank goodness for speaker phone and my car having Bluetooth capabilities while I was taking my nephew to school this morning during the prime calling time!
I am so upset I have my reservation booked for August21-28th and I called to get free dining for part of my stay and the CM told me this could not be done only if it was for the beginning of my stay? I assume this is accurate? She told me to keep checking as there is a possibiity they may extend the dates, but I am just totally bummed. Any help would be appreciated if any.
