2012 Free Dining Dates...?

Hello all. I was wondering if anyone recall about what time of year it was when Disney released all of the Free Dining dates for 2011 back in 2010? Was it late summer or the fall of 2010? Just want to try and keep an eye out for this info for 2012? I thought it was a good idea that they did this for the current year i'm hoping they will put it all out there for us again for 2012. TIA

Free Dining was announced on August 16th last year for reservations in 2011. Had to be booked by December 20th, 2010

We are also hoping that 2012 Free Dining dates will be released We also love knowing what were getting and getting the vacation set up,planned for, and paid for. We booked early last year and had had bounceback for several years before that. This is the first time in a long time I don't have a vacation booked and planning for.

That said, free dining to the UK ( British) has been released. Usually US dates are not exact but this may give you some kind of idea .

We're looking at going in Nov. 2012, but I'm planning on waiting awhile to book anything. I'd book early for free dining, though, just in case any Disney staffers are reading this. HINT HINT.

Thanks so much for your responses. I knew my fellow DISers here would be able to recall what I was talking about. Here's to hoping for ALL of the dates being released again this year for 2012 That is if they offer FD again. I'll take a pin code.... Just throw me something mister!

We added "free dining" to our existing 2011 reservation the instant it became available on Aug. 16th, 2010. I was a nervous wreck and on hold an hour or so to have it applied but it saved our family of 4 adults $1655 so it was definitely worth it!!!

We've been going for 20+ years and this was the first trip with "free dining" and we really enjoyed it. It was without a doubt the best discount we've ever gotten so I'm definitely hoping for "free dining" to be announced again so I can add it to our already booked May 30-June 7, 2012 trip.

I did almost the same thing except for I had already booked our package with dining prior to the promotion coming out. I immediately called Disney and was on pins and needles until they confirmed that they had modified our reservation to include "free dining"! I saved over $1,500 on our vacation by taking advantage of free dining. I sure hope they do it again for our travel dates of May 23-June 4, 2012.

I have always seen the bounceback offers in our room. Last year for the first time I was READY to plunk down some $$$ and actually book one. Doesn't it figure..... we were there in December, part of that window when they weren't offering any bouncebacks. I guess that's becuase that long list of 2011 discounts were active. But those were only good up through the first of October. There was no option for bouncing back in December. You think they'd take pity on me if I called and offer me a belated bounceback?????

You must have been reading my mind!! I was thinking of this very exact thing today. We are taking my husbands son (my stepson) to Disney World for his graduation gift next year. I've been pricing it out and OMG!! I am hoping and praying they bring a discount out for our time frame. Usually its 3 of us but now it's going to be 5 of us. There is a big price difference.
