2012 Free Dining Dates...?

I'm one that booked threw the CA sight but didn't know it. There is a thread in the September 2011 that someone posted. So I clicked on it and just booked. Then I posted it here and them someone told me it was CA. So I removed the post and will be calling to cancle my reservation. I'm pretty sure it will be offered to us residents at some point.

When I went back threw to check it was brining me to the us sight. So I can see where it would be very confusing to some.

Kelly this is off topic. We are coming to your neck of the woods the end of August for a few days before school starts. Hope the weather will still be great then.

Probably a newbie question, but if we book, and add/pay for dining and then they release free dining our December dates too, how does that work? Would they refund you or are you out of luck?

I was wondering if anyone had past experience with FD after Easter. We are looking at the Saturday or Sunday AFTER Easter Sunday (4/21 or 4/22 this year, I beleive). Oops- I meant either the 15th or the 16th. Thank you, Disneynut4ever, for the date correction!

These were out of the date on the website, but was wondering if they ever offered free dining between Easter and May?

Easter Sunday in 2012 will be April 8, 2012. I am looking for the week after myself, beginning on the 17th. Hoping for FD or room only discounts.

You would be refunded. Disney refunded me over $300 when free dining came out for my dates in 2010

I haven't booked yet, gonna wait and watch for the US deal...hopefully it will be available this month because I'd really like the year to pay for it.

I love having the link though because I can experiment with it and get accurate quotes.....I still haven't made a decision on dates or a hotel. (although I am 90% sure that we will go August 19-29.....school will go in early this year)

Well after several calls to the CRO and confirming w/ my AAA TA they have both confirmed that it is not an offer for the US right now. Now, both the CM and my TA did say that they only know about these offers a few days or at the most about a week in advance but still can not book them until they are released. However, if you have a TA you can just let your TA know what dates you may be interested in and a really good TA would gladly notify you if there is a better offer you can use and /or go ahead and book it for you as soon as those offers if any are released. Or if you are like me and just can't wait to start planning your next WDW trip you can just secure your dates with a room only reservation and hope for a deal. But no, the late summer 2012 FD dates are for Canadian patrons only at this time. I know it sucks but hey what can ya do.
