2012 Black Friday Ad Links Posted

Remember Airlines will have Flash sales either on Wed. Thurs or Friday. Last year my dd had to work, but for some reason she checked airline tickets in the morning at 5:00 a.m. and scored tickets from Milwaukee to Denver for $39 one way with Frontier. She called me later and by then you couldn't get online to their site. I was able to get on around 10:00 a.m. and booked ours to Key West Florida for under $150 round trip for April.

Thanks to everyone who has posted the ads/deals, they're very helpful.

Could someone please tell me though, in some of the ads (e.g. Sears) it contains coupons at the end for $10 off $50 etc, where would I pick up the book/leaflet which contains these coupons?

Also, on the Walgreens ad everything says $x 'with card'. What does this mean? Do you need to be signe up to a special membership or have a Walgreens card, or can just anyone get them at the price shown?

Thanks in advance

Just posted link to Walmart.

Walgreens you do need to have a "card" like most grocery stores and CVS in order to get advertised price. They can give it to you right in the store.

The coupons that are on the ads you will get on Thanksgiving when newspapers come out with all of the ads.

Walgreens has a rewards card now. You can sign up for free online. I was told you needed the card to get sale prices. However, I haven't personally tested that out yet.

Oh man Walmart has a bunch of stuff I want, but I avoid that place like the plague on a regular day, I don't want to go near there on BF :scared1:
I hope they have at least some of the same stuff online.

Yes it does. :rolleyes1 Will Target price match this year? If so, I think I'll just stay away from WM!

Thanks Deffenm and Maggie, I have been in touch with Walgreens and I was told I don't need their loyalty card to buy at the advertised price in store on the day, anyone can buy at that price. It's just as well because the loyalty programme isn't open to anyone other than US citizens anyway (I'm from UK). He couldn't tell me what time the Thanksgiving offers start though so I’ll go into store a few days in advance and check. I’ll also double check about the card thing too just to be sure.
Thanks again

I know and everything I want at Walmart starts at 8 PM on Thanksgiving. I can get a few of the items at Sears as well at 8 PM but not everything. I try not to go to Walmart if I can help it.

I miss the days of waking up at 3AM on Friday. I don't like the deals on Thanksgiving. Pretty soon it will be called Black Thursday.

Wow, even though it means we'll be more awake, I'm not liking this 8pm and 10 pm sales - we are from Canada, although just 5 minutes from Buffalo, and it is tradition for my sis and I to stay two nights in a hotel for a nice dinner out on Thanksgiving, then an evening of catching up with each other and relaxing in the room watching Christmas movies. Now we are barely going to have time to go out to eat because we have to be in line at Walmart, and then see if we'd rather wait at Target when they open. I can't imagine trying to have Thanksgiving dinner with my family like we did a month ago and then try and go shopping for the evening. PP is right, it's more like black Thursday!

First apologies if this is in the wrong place but I just found the Kmart Black Friday ad (the one on page 1 seems to be just Thanksgiving). I can't post links so I've added some spaces

Anyone know if the $5 snow people from build a bear are sold unstuffed? My nieces have never been to BABW and I am thinking of giving them the experience of going, and then stuffing the snow people.

Updated index on first page with links to Partial Target Ad and K-Mart's BF ad.

I can't believe all of the stores are now opening up at 8 PM on Thursday and have different deals at different times. This is going to make planning a lot more interesting.

How do you think it will be handled on deals offered at 8 pm or 10 pm Thursday if our local stores cannot open Thanksgiving night? Do you think they will be offered when the store does open or will we not be able to get these deals?
