2012 Black Friday Ad Links Posted

I went to Sears last night, and heard that they'd be opening at 8pm Thanksgiving. Tonight at Best Buy, two of the employees were fairly sure about a midnight opening. On the "holiday month" store hours, they have thursday as closed and friday left blank.

It looks like they will be opening up at 8 PM on Thanksgiving.

The announcement of Black Friday operating hours for Sears are a bit of a shock. Stores will be opening at 8:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 22, 2012) and will stay open a full 26 hours. They will officially close their doors at 10:00 p.m. on Black Friday (Nov. 23, 2012).

I read on another board that Kohls will start its BF pricing online Wednesday (the 21st) 12:01 AM. I am super excited about that, I am looking for the $8 Big One Blankets they had last year!

Does anyone know about Michaels or Jo-Anns Black Friday sales?

i know last coupole years michaels around here have opened at 5p tday. joanns had some reasonable deals imo but nothing that stood out to me.

We've been told @ Penney's that we won't be opening really early on BF as we have in the past. As of right now, we're scheduled to open @ 6 a.m. , but this was subject to change. Hoping for a 6 a.m. opening as I've had to go to bed before dessert the past 18 Thanksgivings to make my 2 a.m, wake up.

I'm so ready for the "good" ads to come out -- Target, Toys R Us, Best Buy! UGH! I have my lists pretty well firmed up of what I need and have been picking things up as I can get a decent deal on them but would like to know if there are going to be any major scores on my stuff!

I really didn't like the crazy early hours the stores had last year.
We have Thanksgiving dinner here, and enjoy the long day with family.
Last year my daughter and I hit the early sales, and I was exhausted.
Plus, we used to enjoy breakfast out after all the shopping.
I wish they would go back to 6 a.m. openings.

I will be watching for a tablet as well....and a PS3. Those are my bigger purchases this year.

Interesting about Target opening at 10pm! Hmm....Not sure how I feel about this - it'll just be a long night but that works for me Target is the one place I usually go since it's very well organized.

I thought I had read awhile back the stores that opened earlier last year didn't like it and were going to change that this year - so far it doesn't appear that way.

Updated index with K-Mart and Macy Thanksgiving Day sales along with Staples, Family Dollar, and Bealls. Hopefully we will see Target, Kohls, Toys r Us soon.

I'm so NOT impressed with year. It's my favorite day to be out and shopping, but with all the flyers posted thus far, including Best Buy, I'm not that into it.

Sam's Club has an XBox for $199 and also a Galaxy Tab 2 10" tablet for $299. Those are 2 things on my list. Has anyone seen a better deal for these?

I want to get the $9.98 Blu Ray DVD Combo movies from Sam's Club and I have a few things on the list from Michaels (my son wants his own art desk) but other then that I don't see much. I guess that is a good thing because I can sleep in a little as Sams Club does not open until 7 am.

A lot of the things from Sams Club are also available online. Last year I was able to order the PS3 on Thanksgiving evening.

Also, I went to Sam's Club last year after all my other shopping and was still able to get what I wanted (3 in 1 printer, scanner, copier).

I'm impressed with Best Buy's Ipod Touch 5th gen deal. You get a $50 gift card with the purchase! I can use that gc to purchase an Xbox game.

So now I'm anxiously awaiting the other BF ads to see if there will be a better deal.

Me too I am officially on the lookout for this for my DS now especially if the gift card deal is nice. $50 seems really good so I hope Target offers the same!

I love BF Shopping, just found out yesterday that i am def if that day (hospital worker). Plus , my husband agreed to come, but he will just hold my bags and make sure we have hot coffee, i don't think he will be game for 8pm, unless there is something in it for him.
