And I need to say a public THANK YOU to Teena for being wonderful (as usual). For anyone who has not had the opportunity to meet the famous Teena, you must try to meet her! Her kindness and generosity are legendary for a good reason!!!

just wanted to add my thanks to everyone who makes this thread so great I saw Teena from a distance while on holiday last year but couldnt quite pluck up the courage to say hello I will definitely try to the next time I'm at the Beach Club (hopefully 2012)

This is what we are looking forward to. Hope to get one day at SAB though too. We usually brave one afternoon for a couple of hours in the pool. SAB will be fun to try out. I may stay dressed and let DH and DS brave it alone if it is a cold winter!! We have to go in Feb. because of DH's builder's show. We love the low crowd's at that time of year. So hopefully it will all be a plus for us too.

You never know ... in December, January, February and early March you could have one day with a high of 50 and the next day a high of 80. I'll keep my fingers crossed for at least one warm day for you. Personally, I'd much rather do the parks in a sweatshirt in 60 degrees than suffer through a day of 95 in the shade!

Hi YC/BC lovers!

We just booked our first stay at BCV for next June and I'm SOOO EXCITED!

June 16 - 22 2012!

We have a two bedroom villa and a studio...it's our whole family going!

Now I need to start reading this whole thread and find out all the awesome things about the resort!

Yep, I made all the door magnets. On the Magic, decorating the doors is huge ... honestly I'd have to say at least half the doors are done up. On the Wonder there weren't nearly as many doors done. It's fun and as you all know, Disney brings out the kid in all of us. Jeanne just laughs at me but of course when she goes on a Disney cruise, she wants door decorations too.

We were on the Magic for Thanksgiving and Christmas last year and I went a bit crazy with the holiday decorations.

When we do our big Celebrity Equinox cruise in late January, it will be very strange not to decorate the door but I don't think they'd appreciate Mickey and Disney Cruise stuff on THEIR doors. However, when we do cruise other lines, Bob and I wear Disney Cruise shirts every day!!! We just can't help ourselves!

.....And I'm thinking that we all may need to chip in for one of those supermarket lunch meat counter ticket thingys so we all can get in line for Teena during peak visiting hours.

..... AND I think Nannette is haunting the Orlando area now.

Just think, she's there, eating those chocolate croissants and dipping her toes in Storm Along Bay.......
(we may need to borrow that lunch meat counter ticket machine for all the people who have to get in line because they are jealous!!)

HEY NANNETTE!! Do us a favor and ask about resort wear merch.... and if they have any can you snap some pics so we can post them to the thread!!!

I have to stop now. My keyboard is getting awfully wet from all my tears from thinking about the pretzel rolls and the chocolate croissant...

They had nothing resort specific the first week of November when we were there. I looked and looked, but I didn't ask anyone about it.

I swear I will get my photos off the camera this weekend! I still need to post some!

I forgot to mention before that one of the nights that we were there, we checked DD into the Sandcastle Club and it was a great experience. That's such a wonderful place, staffed by some great people! I think the best part for DD was getting to dress up in a Snow White dress, and making a bracelet. With the discount voucher included in the MYW package (I think it was 15%), it was around $33 for about 3 hours and she had dinner there included. We asked her when we picked her up if she'd like to go back there sometime and she said yes! We made the decision to try it out while we were there, and called to book just a couple days in advance with no problems. Any questions, y'all just let me know!

My sister is using my DVC points to stay at BC this upcoming January. I have shown her the pictures that I have and some that I have found on the dis, but I was wondering if others could share their stories about their love of BC and some great pics of the pool, landscaping, etc. I know they are going to love it as much as we do, but for some reason im not feeling like I am doing it any justice when I tell her about it. Thanks in advance guys! I just had her become a new disboard member and I told her about all the wonderful people and infomation that comes from this community. I am sure you all won't disapoint!!!!

Alaska? Alaska? I have been under the weather and a bit dizzy the last 2 days, but, I thought Teena went to Baja (my nieces went on a Disney cruise to Alaska the summer and loved it, btw.)
Well, sent away for the UT 10 day hopper yesterday, waiting until 11/15 for the newsletter saved me $1 additional to the regular discount, but now I have the thrill of waiting & wondering 'will the ticket make it in time.' Ah, yes, life on the edge (it's due no later than 11/28 and I leave 12/9 0500 - sooo I should be good.) If I really want to live dangerously, maybe I'll go mess around w/ my ADRs.

You're right ... I went to Baja. But someone asked about the Wonder and Alaska so that's where that came from.
