For the experts or experienced. Can we have our boarding passes printed at BC or is their a place to "check in" to our airline?

We have stayed at CSR and CBR in the past, at CSR we printed our passes in the convention area and at CBR they checked us in right at the resort. Does BC offer either of these services?

Thank you

32 days to go!!!!!!!!!

We like to check-in for our flight exactly 24 hours in advance for the best seating assignment or seating zone (depending on the airline.) But that's tough when we're out at the parks! So this is what BC has done for us in the past:

1) When staying non-CL, we called down to the front desk and they took all our flight information. At the 24-hour mark, they checked us in and printed our boarding passes. The next morning (departure day) we stopped by the front desk and picked up our boarding passes.

2) When staying CL, the CL CMs assisted us. I stop by the desk to tell the CMs (for our most recent stay, Carrie, who was very helpful) that we'd like to check in at the 24-hour point. They always take care of it. In this most recent example, Carrie she said she would keep an eye on the clock and check us in. We happened to be in the lounge at that 24-hour mark, so she stopped by to ask about seating preferences and printed out our boarding passes moments later.

In both cases, very easy!

I've checked in at the outside airline check-in desk in the past, but that doesn't work for us if we're out and about at the 24-hour mark. I remember having some difficulty at both Poly and AKL on trips earlier year because they wanted to run it through that airline check-in desk and the hours are limited. AKL's front desk would assist, but required me to be present for the airline check-in and would not allow me to just phone in my request, like BC. BC has been consistently great with airline check-in!

Thank you so much. It's good to know this is something we wont have to worry about during our trip. :)

If you can't check in for your return flight at the BC (airline not accepted) can you still get your boarding passes printed somewhere?

We will be at the YC Nov 11-18. Will the parks still have the Halloween decorations up or do they take them down the beginning of Nov? I wasn't sure if they left them up until they started putting up the Xmas decorations.

Never been there but heard they start taking down right away for the Christmas celebration. Maybe others here have been at this time??????

Looks like everyone has been busy but thought about you all this morning. The Today Show does a segment on travel called Splurge or Deal..... And guess what. They had our dear Yacht Club as a deal. Told about the huge pool with ship as water slide. Now more of the world knows what we already know!

We'll see you there! We'll be at the YC Nov 11-15!! The halloween decor will be down and Christmas will be up!! The resorts may not have the Christmas up yet, but may be starting toward the end of your trip! Last year the Grand Floridian was building their gingerbread house during our trip!

Wow, it doesn't take disney long to change decorations for the different holidays!!!

We will be staying CL too, so maybe we'll see each other. You'll probably be the one wearing the Minnie ears and veil and your new hubby the top hat.

I can't believe we are 48 days away- 7 weeks from today we will be there!!! YEAH:banana::yay::cool1::dance3::cheer2:

Dang! I missed it! I usually have the Today show on in the background in the morning, but I have been in and out all day.

Sorry I missed it I love that segment. With Yacht Club as the deal what was the splurge?

Hi everybody! I've been popping in and out here for the last few days. We are only TWO WEEKS from our trip! I sent a PM to the person who is supposed to have the noodles ahead of me but haven't received a reply as to how she wants to exchange.

I know this thread moves fast so I wanted to ask again in case I got missed ...

Hi y'all, I have two questions about Mousekeeping:
Do they have box fans you can request to have in the room during your stay?
Do they have step stools available for use in the room? (for the kiddo)
I realize that if they do, availability would be limited, requests not guaranteed, etc. etc. Just wondering. We have to pack a step stool for DD when we go to a hotel, and I'm considering whether to buy a white noise machine. These things are just easier to pack when you are driving. We fly to WDW.

I'm also looking forward to hearing from anyone going in the next month about how entry is working at the IG now. Especially how crowded the Land Pavilion is by the time you can get there.

If we have a pre-park opening Akershus breakfast. We can enter through the IG before 8 a.m. right?

ALSO, ALSO! Buzz is that wifi is being tested at AKV and CSR to name a couple. Somebody be on the look out at Y&BC for engineers installing little black boxes in the rooms!

Don't think they have box fans, they have ceiling fans in all rooms, so don't think you'd need a box fan. I've never seen step stools either.

yes, you can enter thru IG for your breakfast.

Enjoy your vacay!

This happened to us on the front end of our noodle exchange, but it wasn't a problem! I did some disboards research before our trip and discovered that the person on the list before us hadn't posted here or anywhere on the boards for several months. The default is that the noodles will be waiting at BC bell services, so I was prepared to find and rescue those noodles!

When our room was ready and we asked to retrieve our luggage from bell services, I bravely told the CL CM at the desk that in addition to the luggage held under our name, I would need any items left under the name "Noodle," "Mrs. Noodle," "Mr. Noodle" or "Paul Noodle." I was slightly concerned that the CM would think I was crazy, but if she did, she didn't show it - just wrote down all of those. :) Sure enough, the noodles arrived in our room (greeted warmly with lots of cheers) about 10 minutes later! So I bet you'll find them - please give them hugs for us!

Yes, at the Concierge Desk at BC, or at Guest Relations at any park.

Thank you! The box fan would be for white noise. I think I'll buy the white noise machine or a white noise app for the iPhone.

Note- you can check in at the outside Airline Check in the day of your flight and they will print your boarding pass, and check in your luggage, but you have to get there before 1pm.

We had a 6pm flight, but we had to bring down our luggage before 1:00, they leave promptly! We got our stuff down there by 12:30.
Check to see if your airline participates in the WDW airline check in. If they don't, i believe you can still get your boarding pass, but you have to check in your own luggage when you get to the Airport.
