Mim Flynn is the GM of both YC and BC. The address below would be fine, or for the BC you could change the street address to 1800 Epcot Resort Blvd, but I think the letter would arrive at either address.

I think there is also a general Disney Guest Communications address listed on the FAQ section on page 1 of this thread.

Thanks so much Dee! :thumbsup2

Safe travels to you!!!

What an eventful week!

Do you have to drive back, too or will you be flying?

I will be flying home on the 10th. I don't think I will handle that well at all! Leaving Nashville Opryland resort in the AM, next stop Little Rock AK... My DD (aka GEEK) wants to see the Clinton Presidential Library.

Just in from Vegas- a new picture of Teena's granddaughter, Princess Lily. This one did not come with a title, so based on the outfit, I'm calling it

Resting up for Animal Kingdom

She is just beautiful and looks so calm!

Night night from the land of country music!

First of all, CUTE baby!! :lovestruc

Secondly, please don't throw tomatoes, but you can take me off the list for November. We've switched to AKL. We were originally going to do YC this trip and AKL over spring break, but we're going to reverse it so we can hopefully enjoy SAB. Sooooo... see you in the Spring. ;)

That makes sense! No problem. See you soon!

I thought that I would let you all know that we arrived home yesterday. We decided to rent a car on Monday and drove home. We left Tuesday around 4.30am drove to VA stayed with friends overnight and got home yesterday around 5 pm :).

I will write a little review once I have time to digest the mass of branches and tree limbs in my yard :-).

But let it be known, I loved ever minute of my extended trip! 11 days at the YC was awesome!!!!!!

Welcome home! Can't wait to hear details!

:sad1: Our trip is at an end, so sad! We had a wonderful 7 nights at POR, and a spectacular 5 nights at BC :goodvibes It was our first stay in an Epcot resort, and wow! It did not dissapoint.

Our room was wonderful and we could even see the higher Illuminations from our Full :worship: balcony!

The staff was fantastic, and SAB was just as good as I've heard.

If only I could have found the seceret mousekeeping closet so I don't have to leave

Hope you had a safe trip home and can't wait for your details too!!

Seriously, isn't she the cutest????????????????????? :goodvibes

Also, please add a day to our November trip! :cool1: We are now staying Nov 1-7. Airfare was crazy high to fly home 11/6 so using that wonderful Disney math :teacher: I rather give that money to the resort than the airline! :rotfl:

Hi all, really stressing out over our trip next week...it has been one thing after another...Now we have to worry about a tropical storm/hurricane for next week...what else could go wrong...seems like someone is trying to tell me something....

Sorry you are having a rough time. I will be at WDW the same time (8 days!! :woohoo:) & I'm sure we'll be fine!! Power of positive thinking! ;)

Now if I could nicely tell you one thing: we all love lime green Mickeys. Lime green posts, not so much. Way too hard to read.

Try not to worry yet  It is still too far out to know where it will end up (and apparently slow moving too). The latest models I have seen seem to think it will take a northerly route and miss FL altogether. So unless you are coming from the East Coast, you should be fine.

I am beside myself with excitement :yay::yay: See, there's two of me dancing!!

After this being on my wishlist for longer than I care to remember, and it always being a little too expensive for us, we have booked 14 nights at the Beach Club next May :cheer2::cheer2: We really are thrilled to be going :goodvibes

We have booked a waterview room, and as we get the free DDP for those dates we have decided to treat ourselves to an upgrade to the Deluxe Plan too. We did that in January when staying at OKW, but of course staying so close to EPCOT it will be easier to eat without always having to travel.

I shall be reading this thread religiously until we go and thank everyone for the great info here :thumbsup2

We are officially back home now. We were sprinkled with pixie dust too with an upgrade to Club Level! :cool1:

We also got to meet Teena right before she left to see Jeanne and family. It was wonderful talking with her.

I am only on page 80 on this thread and have a lot to catch up on, but we need to get lots done before my son's 12th birthday party tomorrow. I will post some pics probably on Sunday. I am considering doing a trip report if I have the time. They are fun to write.

We totally enjoyed ourselves and loved living the "rich life" for 8 glorious nights.

Subbing to thread :surfweb:

Just booked out next trip at BC CL for July 30 – August 9, 2012. :cheer2:

Been reading through the posts and I love you guys already!! xo, Shel

Hi everyone! Now all rested here is my mini trippie/review of YC :)

Arrived 8/19 by DME, had to wait about 10 minutes at MCO as we had just missed a bus... no biggie. The bus took about 25 minutes stopping first at POR and BC before dropping us at YC. There was only a couple getting off the bus with us and a nice greater met us at the stop and walked us inside to check in. Nice touch :) We were checked in and received a birthday button for my DH who turned 40 the week before, but he never wore the pin :) As a side note the lady who checked us in noted that we had Free Dining and I felt a pang of shame.... I have never traveled to WDW with out receiving some offer 4/3 etc and it has never been noted before... oh well. Our room was ready and we headed off to find it. We were in a GV room on the 2nd floor with a nice view of the quiet pool, no pixie dust but still a great room. I had gone back and forth for MONTHS about this room, we usually stay in a 2 bedvilla as a family of 5, I was SO worried that it would be too tight, it was fine, my kids are 5, 8 and 11, I think if they were younger it could have been hard but it was perfect :)

On to the pools, kids LOVED SAB. Sand bottom pool was a hit, I liked that the sand fell off you and wasn't an issue. It did hurt your feet if you walked around the pool area with no shoes on. I used a life vest (for my youngest) from the pool store with my KTTWC and had it for the entire trip, this was great that we could bring it to the room and not have to deal with getting a new one every day. We just left it on the balcony to dry. I was even able to extend my loan on the vest when I trip was delayed. The lazy river was great, although the water is deep and the kids tired quickly. My younger kids REALLY enjoyed the pool party and games, winning necklaces. And the 2 slides kept everyone busy. We also used the quiet pool a couple of times while I was doing laundry. Which also had a bathroom.

Laundry.... yup I had a lot! Being in FLA for 11 days with 5 people and sweaty betty conditions I ended up doing Laundry 2x, each time doing 3 loads at $2 for wash and $2 for driers. I brought my own HE sheets with detergent on them but they did sell supplies if you needed them. They also had a large table area too. I also noticed a laundry (with vending machines) on the ground floor of the hotel but I never used that.

Mousekeeping were great! We received towel animals EVERY single day except the day I left a tip after 2 of my kids had accidents at night :( I am sorry ladies :( The room was very clean and we only got in the way of Mouse keeping once and we dashed out of the room quick to leave them too it.

Transport..... We had no issue with the buses and never waited more than 10 minutes. I was impressed with the DTD bus as I had read so many terrible things and was super worried. I really liked that we didn't have to take the bus every day :) We did not walk to DHS but took the boat, but we did enjoy the walk to Epcot and walking around the Boardwalk. As a side note this trip I had gone back and forth about bringing a stroller for the little guy, I ended up bringing it but it was never opened at all!!!! Woot woot for us and our first stroller free trip!!!!

I enjoyed the resort very much, love the extra greeters and buckets of towels on rainy days :) It certainly felt like home and I would love to go back. The staff were very helpful when we were stranded by our airline after our flight was canceled due to Irene hitting home. We were given a deal and the room and offered help with whatever we decided to do... which most of you know by now was drive 1,315 miles home:) We did it and I feel a great sense of accomplishment!!! Go me!!

Anyway any other questions please ask, I had a fabulous 11 nights at YC :)

Hey DjdBrit - wanna drive our car to the world next year ? We'll fly down and meet ya !! JK, JK !! Glad it all worked out for ya. We had 0 damage from the storm, luckily. Have a great day !!

Hi DjdBrit,

Glad to hear you made it back safe and sound.

What was the room rate when you were stranded and how long would they have extended that rate?

I'm seriously considering running away from home during the next hurricane and my husband would never think to look for me at Disney World (He's not the sharpest knife in the drawer if you get my meaning....).

Thanks and welcome back to reality.

I was meant to check out on Monday 29th (morning) and only added 1 night in the end but they did say they would extend it until Thursday 1st, I did have a feeling if I could prove being stuck till Saturday they might make it till then.... Here's the cash cow..... $250 a night.

That's not bad... I wonder, if you pleaded poverty, then they possibly could have extended you a discount rate at a mod or value.... and you would have to move.

I can't imagine people having to pay regular rates while trapped... and when you consider the fact that Florida probably had a lack of people coming in there were probably rooms to fill, or keep filled in the case of Disney. I mean you could have gone anywhere.... like that FUNKY smelling Ramada Inn of Titusville for instance.....
