Wishing I was there this year! As Robyn put it a couple of weeks ago or so, I am one of the 'charter' members (lol) since I attended last year! Robyn, Nettie (YCFAN) and of course Teena and 'Flat Dee' attended last year. I was going to have Flat Kerry attend, but didn't get my act in gear last week!!

Will be thinking of all of you tonight. Please take another photo so we can add it with the photo from last year's Meet!!

I am having BC withdrawls...been home 10 days .

I am planning my next DVC vacation for next Aug. How will I manage til then??? My home resort is AKV so I won't be able to book BCV til the 7th month mark. Has anyone had a problem at getting a BCV in August? Also I know that July is tour group central (we were stuck in many long lines and had difficulty navigating strollers in such crowds) so I am trying for August in hopes that there won't be as many tour groups. Do people notice a difference in the Aug. crowds?

Here in MA we start school towards the end of August. I am trying to decide if we should go early in the month or more towards the middle (which is also my birthday). Is there a huge difference in crowds from the beginning of the month towards the middle???

Bigger difference between the beginning and middle of the month and the last two weeks. If you can manage one of the last two weeks in August, depending on what happens with free dining offers, you may be in good shape crowd-wise.

I just got a very brief "live" review from one of the guests.

T. was surprised by a baby welcome celebration, complete with cake and presents to keep at home for when Lily visits.

Lots of pictures, so as soon as some of the folks return home, we will post them here.

I know that someone, somewhere has already asked this but I'll ask anyway. Does SAB close before midnight? Are the quiet pools open later? Are the hot tubs open past mid-night? We are midnight swimmers. Also, where would I to to find the movie schedule for the beach movies for August? Thanks.

Got home an hour ago. What a surprise the Dis Meet was. It turned into a "Nanny" Baby Shower for Princess Lily.

Pictures will be posted as soon as some of the attendees get home from their Y&B vacations. As most of you know, I'm not a camera person.

And the food: chocolate covered strawberries, the best chocolate cake ever from private dining ... Bob already ate a third of it when I walked in the door, champagne and cookies ... I was soooooo surprised and touched. You are all so very special and so thoughtful. I can't wait to get all the lovely gifts out to Vegas (August 23rd). I immediately called Jeanne and told her about it all. And there were some very special presents (pictures & frames, brag book) for Pop-Pop and Nanny too so everything will not be going to Vegas.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. I'm very lucky to have met so many wonderful friends here. Working for Mickey and meeting so many wonderful people at the same time ... it doesn't get much better than that!!!!

Hello! SAB hours vary significantly, based on a variety of factors. We've seen very different schedules based on weather, crowds and time of year. Last summer, SAB was open until 11pm, and I believe summer guests this year have been reporting similar closing times. I'd suggest checking with the lifeguards when you arrive - we've found that the lifeguards have more up-to-date information than the front desk. The quiet pools are open later, but we haven't been swimming past 11pm, so I'll leave that to someone with personal experience (and I remember reading a recent report on that!)

As for movies, we rely on buildabettermousetrip.com, which typically posts movie schedules for the month on the 1st or 2nd of each month. I know Dee checks those regularly, and usually posts the YC/BC movie schedule on the first page of this thread each month.

Awww! How fun! Sounds like you had a fantastic time. I saw baby pics posted some pages back and Lily is so beautiful! Congrats once again.

What are you looking for in a room? Close to the lounge? Quiet? Full balcony? Daybed?

You are better to request the qualities of the room you want rather than an actual room number. If the specific room you want is not available for your trip, the room assigner will not really know what is important to you and may not place you where you want to be.

Check out the FAQ section on page 1 for some suggestions about room requests.
