Hmmm... this is the number I have on page 1: (407) 934-1448

This info was inherited from the previous "threadmaster", so I'm not sure where it came from.

Should I change the number? Add the one nannette has? Anyone know?

On the other hand, the Disney Dining number is permanently imprinted in my brain.

Just google searched the number nanette has and it appears to be the general WDW reservation/grand gathering number. The 1448 number is the concierge number for YC/BC/BW.

natebenma The email that I recently got from YC/BC IPO had the following number listed on it... 407 934 1448..so I think that the number that you have on page one is the right one! :thumbsup2

HTH :)

YCFAN Great pic of Fitting and Fairings...Thanks for posting it...Looks like a nice place to spend some time!!

Have any of the recent travelers used DME to get to the resort from the airport? I am just curious as to the drop off order and who it shares with. We are landing at MCO at 9:15am and hope we will be to the resort by 10:30am :wizard:

It's not all that recent anymore, but when we used ME for the BC in February of this year and July of last year, the order from MCO was Port Orleans, Boardwalk and BC. On the return trip, it was direct from BC to MCO. I usually allow two hours from the time the plane arrives to arrival at BC, but it's usually just a little faster!

I fixed the one in the quote(because the m was out of the email quotation & it didn't show up if you hit the link) but I noticed everywhere I have seen the address there is a space between the o&m. It works cause I have used it to email them.
I also use the 1448 number to contact them a few times;)

I have had a lot of trouble getting the right address for contacting IPO/Club Level CMs onto the front page.

I believe this is the correct address and have posted it to page 1:

Yacht.Beach.Club.Itinerary.Planning@disneyworld.com
I don't know why there is a space between the o and the m in .com, but when I click on the address, and it brings up the e-mail window, there is no space in the address.

Does anyone need to contact IPO? If so, can you try to do it through the link on page 1 and let me know if it works.

I'll assume it is ok unless I hear otherwise.

Thanks!

So, as most of you know I have been going thru breast cancer...I decided to upgrade to CL as a surprise to the family, kids don't know when we are going & DH doesn't know I upgraded:cloud9:

We are also celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary:woohoo::banana::banana::banana: which is another reason for the upgrade.
So, I was thinking of getting a cake for our anniversary but should I do an in room cake or one at an ADR?
YCFan has made me envious of there in room party, but I can't spend that much! :(
Do you have any other ideas??:confused3

Another question...I usually write poems for the room assigner. I have never stayed CL before do you think I should still write my cute poems or forget about it for this trip??

Also, about BB offers...I booked with 40% off room but I'm going in the FD promo will the BB be for FD or a room discount? Do they have more than one BB offer going at the same time??

Thanks everyone!!

You could do something simple like this and just order desserts off of the menu at the restaurants when you have your meal. This would save you the trouble of dragging back a half eaten cake that is melting in the heat. Does anybody ever finish those cakes anyway?

Just a BC/YC thought...

Marlton Mom
PS I think this costs in the (BC/YC) neighborhood of $65 bucks.

Hi Nannette,

Sorry to make extra work for you, but could you please change our November vacation date from 7-13 to 13-19. In all my excitement, I just noticed I forgot to advise you of the change.

We are doing a split stay and I was 'forced' to switch the order for our resorts because this past week I was offered a 40% room discount on a BC CL lagoon view when I called about the change, so of course, it was a no brainer to do the flip.

Am so excited...when you are just calling to make a change to your ressie, and out of the blue they offer you the discount, well, I bet the poor CM still has ringing in her ears!!!

Happy planning everyone!!!

I am really having a blond moment..I did already post this info and Nannette answered...that will teach me to post in the middle of the night

I think I'm as bad as the kids at Christmas, I couldn't fall asleep at a decent hour last night, and now I'm up before dawn! And this is just a weekend getaway trip for us, our big vacation is the Dream Cruise in my ticker! I love BC, so I guess it's ok. I've enjoyed this thread, even though I didn't contribute a thing, I've been in lurk mode daily. If nothing else it encouraged me to adopt a noodle family of my own.:lmao: I'll be sure to give a mini TR when we get home. Have a nice weekend.

Nanci- have a fantastic weekend getaway!

*Jealous*

Did anyone warn you that once you adopt a noodle family you are responsible for them until they reach the legal age of 18? J/K- noodles never last more than a season or two at our place as a result of being regarded more as light sabers than flotation devices. Don't call DNS on us!

Ah but I heard you get noodle support paid by the government. The more noodles you take in the more sweet moolah you get.

No fears on the DNS call from me, we don't get an extra long life from ours either, the FL sun really does a number on them. I did forget to mention that my 14 yo DD was a little surprised I shared your noodle family pics with her...she was shocked to see them in the shower, she noticed they didn't have any clothes on! :scared1: She was afraid this messageboard had stopped being family friendly. :rolleyes1

How much "dough" do you get? And what kind? With my luck, it would be pasta dough.

Hi guys! Since YC is a "convention" resort, I thought maybe someone here would have the answer.
DH and I are staying at the YC Nov 25-Dec 3. During that time, there is a conference I'm attending occurring at the resort, therefore I was able to book our stay through Conventionears, Disney's Convention site, and got the YC for $170/night! :cool1: When I made those reservations, there really wasn't a way to request any certain type of room since it's a convention block, and I have to assume those rooms probably face the parking lot or rooftop somewhere.
My question is, has anyone stayed there on a convention rate and had a decent view? Or, does anyone know if it's possible to pay the difference and upgrade to CL?
Thanks....Wendy

Hi again,

As of now, we are at the Poly from 7-13 when we switch from our second favourite resort to BC, the best resort ever!!! :woohoo:

Thanks for making the changes.

We had a lovely view of the quiet pool when we stayed at YC for a conference. We were at the part of YC furthest from Epcot (closer to Swan/Dolphin). I was surprised by how nice our view was. I don't think you can make requests when staying on a convention rate but we really lucked out!
I've read on the Contemporary thread that for conventions some people may end up Garden Wing and some Tower so I think it's just luck of the draw.

Not super recent but last August I traveled alone with 3 little kids and we were dropped off at BC first. Later that night my DH arrive alone and he was the very last person on the DME bus. I suspect there's some "flexibility" in the drop-off order. That was the last time my DH will ever use DME! :rotfl2:
