2011 World Series

What a great game!! The whole series was amazing. DH and I are trying to expand the family and I promised if the Cardinals won we could use something team-related as a baby name. Anything but Pujoles.

I like the name Yadi myself. LOL

So so so excited here. It was a good series. Seriously, if you told me back in August, this is where we'd be, I would have thought you were NUTS!! We were barely keeping alive and just hoping for a wild card win.

As you can see by my ticker, I'll be at DW in a couple of weeks, I'm going to suggest to the family that we all wear our Cards gear one day

Congratulations Red Birds! My stepfather Bob, who passed away in May, was a HUGE Cards fan. I like to think that he was putting in a good word for a World Series win .

On our next trip to Disneyland in March we are going to have a Ranger day, a University of Texas day (DD1's school) and a Stephen F Austin Day (DD2's school) I think the theme days makes the pictures look better. My family won't wear matching t's but are all for "theme days" so I take what I can get! Plus it makes it easier for the CM's to see where your family ends.

Congratulations Cardinals! You definitely deserved more and never stopped fighting. Rangers however just gave up, I myself stopped watching after we hit the batter for a run. It's going to be a dark day for Ranger's fans tomorrow and we'll be replaying Game 6 for years to come. I'll still be proudly wearing my Rangers hat though

David Freese is the MVP. For a boy, David. For a girl, it's harder. I looked up the meaning of the last name "Freese" and go this:

Ugh, who were those Ranger players last night? That was ugly.

Congratulations to the Cardinals. I love how the team fought back again and again and they certainly did deserve to win. I still probably won't follow baseball rabidly but I know which team I'll be cheering for from now. That unless you play the Rangers or the Astros, two long suffering teams.
