My husband gave up...he's in the bedroom watching the TCU football game.

Walking a run in is pretty harsh. You have to recover from that.

However games like this can get really nuts on both sides.

It's like our guys found out some horrible news right before the game or something. This is just sad.

I think losing a game 6 when you think you've won it all just takes the starch out of you. The last World Series with a game 7 was in 2002 after the Angels came back from being down 5-0 late to win, and the Giants were flat in game 7. Maybe the same thing is happening here. But as has been said in this thread already, it isn't over till it's over.

Well, I have watched the Cards blow World Series and playoff games before. I have learned not to think it is in the bag, been burned too many times.

oh...and it's not a total wash because DH bet on the Cards tonight so if the Rangers lost he wouldn't feel as bad Lol. It's only $50 but whatever makes him feel better!
