What a game last night. I am a Ranger fan but have got to admit this has been a great series to watch. It would be even better if the Ranger's win though! Go Rangers!

I love that this thread has remained so civil and friendly!
I've always known that Cards fans (while we CAN get a bit overzealous at times...LOL) have a lot of class , but I'm seeing now that Rangers fans are a mighty classy bunch as well.
It absolutely makes me cringe when I see "fans" of any sport lose control and get stupid. It's like people forget that they're adults and start acting like a bunch of first-graders on a playground. It makes for a really awkward and embarassing situation to watch...
It's nice to see both sides enjoying a great series for what it is: A GREAT series!! At this point, whoever wins, I thank both AWESOME teams and their AMAZING fans for a STELLAR World Series!!! I couldn't have asked for a better post-season!!

I agree. I do not like the Cardinals but my dad was telling me how the Cards fans were applauding the Texas players at the Game 1 introductions. Classy indeed

I'm still trying to get over last night's game. Twice we were a strike away from winning our first World Series. It was certainly a great game though for anyone who loves baseball but if we lose tonight it will be Texas' 1986 Game 6.

Well according to the announcers we are a piece of crap and you guys are a shoe in. They think Carpenter is crap for this game.

Woohoo - LET'S GO CARDINALS!!!

You know, we really are classy fans. I was at the World Series game when the Red Sox won a few years ago. There were 2 Red Sox fans standing next to us and when they won, we actually hugged the couple (the man had a long story that had to do with his dad and it was an emotional thing). It was actually very nice and I was happy for them. If I have to go to a loosing game, I'm glad it was that one. LOL

While I am soooooo rooting for the Rangers, just like last year with the Giants, at least I like our competition. If I weren't cheering for a particular team in this series, I'd probably before the Cardinals simply because I love those little cardinal birds on their shirts .

LOL our mascot (Fredbird) is kinda cute, too. My nephews LOVE him.

Here are my DD's with the Giants fans that sat near us during Game 5 of last year's World Series. They were so nice and so much fun, and they were so happy to have won that it took some of the sting out of losing for us.
