2011 Weddings

I'm so excited that this board exists!!!

My fiancé and I just booked our ceremony at 2:30 and reception for July 14th, 2011 at the WP and Grand Floridian!!

Our colors are turquoise and lime green with zebra print. So fun!!!

So far I've been dealing with Pam, but now that our deposit is in they are handing us over to our coordinator.....then the real fun begins!!!

I'm very excited to learn more from all of you in the next year!!

I got engaged on June 7, 2010 inside of the castle at Disneyworld! My fiancé and I have been flip flopping on exactly what kind of Disney wedding we want to have. It went from being the two of us to maybe a bigger wedding and now to a very small wedding with our closest family members. We plan on having an escape wedding at Sunset Pointe on December 6, 2011. We are going to have 8 people and then have either a lunch or dinner at Ohana.

I have a few questions that I hope you guys can help me with. I am not sure at what time I would want to be married at. Part of me wants 2:30 and the other part wants 5:00. Does anyone know if this week is considered part of the value season? When am I supposed to call Disney to book everything?Thanks!

WOOHOO, add us for October , we were going to be january, but we had a little unexpected surprise... I am pregnant, so we have decoded to wait until after the birth and the baby will be about 6 months old.

We've been in contact with a consultant and are shooting for 4/10/2011...we should hear something definite by tomorrow! I'm so overwhelmed and have barely started to begin the planning process with 8 months left... O_O

Save the Dates are going out this weekend and once I get the count on how many guest we'll have for sure I'll try to figure out the rest of the plans

Hi to a fellow October bride! When in October is your wedding? Congratulations on your new baby too!

I am just waiting for DF to go ask my dad for my hand... he is very old fashioned and is waiting for the ring to come back to the jeweler so he can go ask , and then the planning will begin...I do not like disney when it is crowded, so I am trying to find a non holiday time to go, I am canadian and our thanksgiving is around the 11th of October (also my bday) so we are thinking around there, we are planning to rent some DVC points and stay in one of the AKV's.
I originaly wanted a sunset point wedding, but it seems we will be way more people than the minimum , so I am trying to pick another location, I love the wedding pavillion beach, but I am thinking we would rather spend the extra $$ on something else, like an MK photo shoot , where are some of your locations ?

I'm in the same situation. Well, we decided next year and Disney World, but I'm waiting on the big question. I had to send him the Passporter ebook so he'll understand when we have to get penciled in. I'm so worried we'll not be able to get a date then have to get married somewhere else. I'm such a worry wart!
