2011 deals

Since Disney now has a couple of deals out that run into Dec, do you think we might see 2011 prices and deals earlier this year than Aug? We are planning for Jan and just can't wait to actually have or reservations etc. Of course the airline prices aren't out yet....I am getting antsy waiting!!!!!

I'm not aware of any deals that go past Aug 2010 right now - which are going into Dec?

You won't see any information about 2011 for anything at the World for a while.

I booked my Disney cruise part of my trip for Dec. 2011, but it won't let me book my resort until August.....

People are reporting over at the codes boards that they have received a pin code that runs through December.

Rates for 2011 are typically not set til August.

As such, I can't imagine they'll offer any deals (including bounceback) for January 2011 or beyond until the rates are set in August.

I seriously cant wait. Im trying to plan my honeymoon for march 2011. I got my cruise booked but im an obsessive planner and just cant wait to book my resort. I was going to call and book my room only with no price quote, but now maybe ill just wait until april to see if anything is released.

Yeah.. those same exact people on the phones will also tell you :

- Yes you can bring your mug from 2001 and use it again
- Fantasmic is running 7 nights a week with 2 shows each night EVERY night
- Yes Wishes will be performed in August
- Yes five people can stay in your room at the values

And a bunch of other stuff that isn't true.

I'm not saying Disney won't change it up this year (for the first year since I've been on the DIS btw) AND release 2011 rates in April.

I'm just saying I wouldn't hold your breath just yet.

Disney likes the way they have the system set up with following year rates and room package rates out in August .. it allows them to control next year bookings and continue to offer 2010 specials and offers to entice people who may wish to wait til next year - to go this year.

Thus improving their bottom line.
