Previously stayed at BC in a fabulous room that I thought was an upgrade...but now that I am planning my second stay, it looks like that room was a regular standard room. For us it was perfect: ground floor, corner room, facing the quiet pool, easy access to Epcot and we could walk outside to the main resort/lobby areas instead of the endless hallway maze.
Now I am reading that there are new categories and I'm wondering if anyone knows if there are any more ground level standard rooms left? I think the room I had was a hidden gem and I hope I was the only one that thought so and it's still considered standard!!!
You need to call dining line direct to make any special occassion changes to a reservation once booked...Hey guys this is not a specific YC/BC questions but I know you'll have an answer.
I remember going to the WDWpage and adding some info to my reservation (birthday, special occasion, first visit). I added another reservation, but now I keep winding up on the page where you buy stuff. I just want to add a birthday onto one of my reservations. Do you guys remember where you can enter that stuff?
Thanks,
bookgirl

this coming August and are sooooooo excited.
to all of the new posters and future guests!
we will be there july 14-20 and celebrating DS's 7th birthday while we are there (his bday is the 16th) and our 15th anniversary which is this may. It'll be me, dh, ds & dd (twins 9) and ds (turning 7 while we are there) We can't wait!!First of all - Hello,
This is such an amazing site and we love this thread....
We shall be staying at the Beach Club for the first timethis coming August and are sooooooo excited.
We are a family of 5 and have stayed at the value resorts, then we moved to the POR (and absolutely loved it) but it has always been my dream to stay at the Beach Club. (Particularly once we had visited to see what it was like and just fell in love with the resort and atmosphere). We have booked a standard room and are on the DDP. We are keeping our fingers crossed for one of the new day beds but are sure that the standard room will suit us just fine having previously experienced a room in the value and then the moderate resorts.
We have made all of our Adr's and would now just like to be added to the list so that it is 'official'
We arrive on Aug 12th and depart on the 28th.
Our three (DS-11, DS-10, and DD-8) cannot wait to see SAB - we have already decided that swimwear is going in our backpacks so that they can hit the pool as soon as we check-in.
Everything sounds simply divine and whilst we do not want to wish our lives away, we do wish it was August already!!!!
Looking forward to experiencing it all for ourselves and finding out some more hints and tips from you 'experts'.
Many thanks
to all of the new posters and future guests!
I'll get to the guest list update later today, or likely tonight.
MickeyT- page 60 I think
Nanette- still page 4? I don't think there has been much Nov. activity.
It would be helpful if the other "Keepers of the Lists" would repost today or tomorrow if you get a chance. Even it the list hasn't changed, you can repost and ask if there is anyone new.
Thanks!
Dee

Who's going in March?

Your excitement and enthusiasm are rubbing off on me!!!! Not to mention your positive outlook, which can sometimes be hard to find on the DIS.
I hope you guys have a wonderful trip. I've got a beach club trip report I will find for you to read.

So my little gem of a location could have jumped from standard to water?! I don't think of it as a garden view at all.
) and also ask what room category it is. When I reserved at YC, I mentioned really liking the room we had last time, and the reservationist asked me if I knew the room number and she would put it down as a request. We've cruised DCL for 9 years. Using the DCL transfers and private car companies.
I've sat on DCL buses outside the port for way too long when the lines inside were too long. Not a big fan of DCL cutting into my vacation time.
Now we use FL Tours with GREAT success. We're picked up at the resort, wisked to the port (stop at liquor store along the way) and on board that boat!! They have excellent service and great prices, especially if you can find another family to share a ride with, we do all the time. FLT also gives DIS Boards discount!
I should add...
We're taking ME to WL precruise. FLT from WL to PC. Then FLT to BC postcruise. Using ME from BC to MCO.
Anyone have additional experiences/options to add to my research list?
