Magic Kingdom is PACKED for any Holiday fireworks event, so I recommend watching them from the Polynesian Resort

It has less crowds and is an awesome show because of the added perimeter and island firework launch zones. Follow the pathway up to Sunset Point (the side walk to the right, up the hill with palm tree on top), or watch from the beach of the Poly.

Here is a video I took LAST NIGHT of the Independence Day Magic Kingdom fire works (They show them the 3rd and 4th, similar to how they do New Year's the 30th and 31st). SPOILER WARNING: This is the finale, and I may have enhanced the music just a bit. ;)

TIP TO GET TO THE POLY: They won't let you park there unless you are staying at the resort, but you can either walk from the main MK parking lot, or just take the Resort Monorail (the one on the left) to get there.

Final tip: You DO NOT see the Castle very well from this location. If this is extremely important to you, I would suggest getting into the park.

Happy 4th of July everyone!!!! :D :D :D

My family is planning to go to the 4th of July fireworks on the Poly beach next year.

Does the beach get really crowded?

How long before the fireworks should we show up?

Thanks!
