THANK YOU pixarmom for posting more pics, Marlton Mom for helping me find my way & Natebenma for adding me to the Be Our Guest list! I am loving the location of the Deluxe CL rooms - now I understand there are 2 others above Cape May, but I'm in love with the 4 by the quiet pool. We only travel with carry-ons, so I always do a load of wash or 2 each trip, so that laundry room is very convenient in that spot.

Next question - CL lounge is on the 5th floor, which this area doesn't have - do I go down to level 1 & make my way back to the lobby area to get an elevator to floor 5? Looks like a hike, but when free snackies are calling my name, it's never too far!

We stayed in a deluxe CL room 4557 last February and absolutely loved that location. Our room also had a huge balcony - really huge. I can't tell you how many times I kick myself for not taking any photos of that room - I was out on other photo missions - but entirely failed to take any pictures of our room. And we were there for an entire week, so it's not like I didn't have enough time! Oh well, guess that means I need to book deluxe CL so I can complete this photo mission!

Anyway, to get to the lounge, we did need to go to the main elevators and take the elevator up one floor. We didn't think it was inconvenient, but we ate breakfast in the lounge and evening appetizers in the lounge, so we only transported desserts back to our room at the end of the day.

Here are some (photos) that I may not have posted:

Thanks for posting these. I didn't have a lot of them. A couple of questions for you:

Pool Rules- that's from the quiet pool, right? Even though it lists hours from 7 to midnight, I believe there is access 24 hours a day (please be quiet and respectful of other guests, though)

Kiddie Pool- says 2.8 feet deep. Is it the same depth throughout? I think I'll add to the front Kiddie Pool info that the water is around 2 1/2 feet deep.

Which laundry room is this?

Do you remember what the room number was of your "garden view". Just interested for my room view collection, so if it is a hassle to figure it out, it is not really important for me to know.

Thanks!

I love YC CL and this year am thinking of split stay between Poly and YC. Originally I was going to do standard YC but DD and DH keep selling me on the benefits of club (as if I don't know!) Instead of garden or standard I would consider LAGOON. Is it worth the uupgrade? Are all rooms GOOD in this category? Any certain ones to request?

Teena that's great news about the pins! Do you wear a lanyard for pin trading at BC? My boys are really into pin trading, it can consume an entire day for them in WDW.

Yep, I wear pins and pin trading is a huge part of my job!

Hi Dee!

Sorry some of them are such poor quality. I hesitate to post that one of the secret entrance, but my husband (after many BC stays) simply cannot remember where it's located in the light or the dark, so I took that one for him!

1) Yes, quiet pool rules.
2) I do think it's the same depth throughout - I was really watching for depths last time in an attempt to demonstrate that guests will neither starve nor drown!
3) It's the quiet pool laundry room.
4) I know this - just can't remember it now. I'll check my stash of Disney stuff (I never throw away anything from Disney.)

Hi scottmel! Happy to see you! After many years at BC, I booked YC for the first time, so I'd love to hear what you love about YC and YC CL!

Teena, do you happen to know the vinylmation situation at BC right now? Pins would be easier than vinylmation, but as you may recall, our boys are huge vinylmation fans and wondering which series are available at BC. I'm sure it will change by April (I'll be on a purchasing/trading mission for the older boys when M and I stay at YC), but just curious.

Sorry, I have no idea of what is going on with Vinylmation. Thank goodness they don't make me carry a suitcase of them around to trade!!!

They are cleaning up SAB for us. Great time of the year to get it done. Pool still open but sectionalized.

Stupid question: I know I saw this somewhere, but the BC GV CL rooms are all 2 QUEEN beds, right? Not doubles? We had 2 doubles in our last hotel stay and it was super uncomfortable. On the Disney site it says that there is a possibility of 2 doubles in our room category. I'm going to request a rollaway cot and the kids can alternate. :cloud9::banana::rotfl2:

:lmao: With all the vinylmation I carry for three boys at WDW, I feel like that's exactly what I do!!!

Feckless, I'm almost certain it's queen beds. But I wanted to comment on the "icons by DD" because our oldest son was insisting that I end every post with this for a while last year: :wizard:

Hi BC/YC family,

We are checking into the YC CL on 3/11 and stay until 3/18! I am so excited because this may be our final family Spring Break, and what better place to go then the Happiest Place on Earth? My older daughter is graduating (from Vassar-SO Proud!) this year and who knows where she will be this time next year? I'm not excited because it may be our last family Spring break, I am excited because we are taking a family trip, and I cherish each and every one of them, especially now that one daughter is about to fly the coop! We actually gave her the choice of Grand Cayman or WDW, and she chose WDW!

Thanks for all the work that the regulars do on these boards!

Hi Scottmel, DD and I stayed YC Cl Lagoon view Oct 2010.. We loved it! We over looked SAB and could see all of the Boardwalk and the boats and it was beautiful! As for if it's worth the upgrade only you know... I happen to love views so I'm always going to upgrade to at least garden... if the price difference isn't that much I'll upgrade to a pool or waterview.. I will never be in a standard, but that's just me and the love of a view. DD and I are people watchers so views are worth it to us! I do have to say whatever room we were in it felt like a looong walk to the lounge, but we loved it!

Hope this helps!

Mike, thanks for posting the pics! The one of BC at night is gorgeous, and congrats on the race!

Pixarmom, was it you that helped me get some ideas before for welcome gifts for the kids? I think that I would really like to do this and I'd love to get some ideas of where to start (again). I remember looking at a lady's site who did this. Was it Brenda? I have some ideas but I need a ton more. How much will IPO or CL staff help out? I know that people have told me this before, so I'm sorry to be askigpng again.

We are still mired in our grief over our little dog around here. I hope you'll indulge me in looking at her sweet self when she was still in her prime. This picture was taken when she just turned 10. She was still like a puppy up until about age 13, when she was robbed of her sight and hearing and slowly withdrew from the world. I'm trying to remember her more like this. My sweet baby Emma.

Hi Feckless, so sorry again for your loss. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

Yes, we organized an in-room celebration with IPO and they were wonderful! They did refer me to Disney Florist once, but based on Robyn/Disneymomx7's advice, I just said I would prefer to work with IPO. Omar at IPO was particularly helpful, but many CMs were involved. I just gave them a general idea of what I wanted in the room (ours was a pirate-themed surprise), and they gave me general estimates of the prices. We confirmed the details via e-mail and I called in with my credit card information once we had the list set. (We did this during the BWI part of our stay, but BWI, YC and BC share an IPO, so it's all the same.) When we arrived and checked in, our room wasn't ready. But by the time we grabbed lunch at ESPN, a CL CM had set everything up in the room. They can't set up before check-in, but if you give them a little time, they might be able to have it ready before you walk in for the first time. Otherwise, just let the CL CMs know when you will be out and they can do it then. It was great fun and IPO was wonderful - Omar was so excited about our surprise and had the shopping list all ready to go!

thank you for all the photos. The quiet pool looks so much nicer than I expected. Don't want to rush the summer, but can't wait for our trip.

Also can anyone tell me if the lounge is still 24 hours with drinks and snacks? It was last summer on pilot and hope it still is!

Michelle,

Congratulations on your daughter's graduation! If my family is any indication, the family trips to WDW do not end at either high school or college graduation! And with our own kids, I have a feeling our oldest is going to choose WDW over a tropical paradise on his college graduation day! :)

Thanks for the update, Mike! Our niece was in AK today meeting Mickey at Tusker House, and she looked pretty bundled up in the photo! Thanks for the Citricos review - sounds like we should definitely keep it on our list. We usually bring our kids to signatures, but you mentioned that it's good for a date night - any kids there?

Didn't forget your question pixarmom! Just took twenty pages to get to the answer.....Yes. Plenty of kids. It's just a very laid back, quiet atmosphere.
