Buc-ees coming West... what are it's.....

We literally have a Bucee's in the back yard of the company I work for. Here are a couple of words of warning:

1. The huge frosted cinnamon buns are shear evil.
2.
... but I thought that was true of all the frost cinnamon buns in general...oh wait.. just because my wife is the 🧟🧟🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳🧑‍🍳 in the kitchen when making the birthday trays of the buns.... I have the clean up detail...so....

We don't have them here, but I go when I go to my stepmoms every spring. I was just there on Friday and Saturday. The banana pudding is amazing, hard to find up here in the north LOL. Funny that canded pecans were just mentioned, I have some sitting here. They are soooo good.
I was shocked their iced tea was actually good, I am very fussy.
I did comment to my stepmom when we left, that it's crazy they don't have any place for people to sit though. I wonder that every year when we go. Why??

All this Buc-ee's talk is killin' me! 🤣

I don't necessarily agree with this list. In fact, I have strong feelings about several of these things and their positions among the rankings, but #16 is my go-to if I need a jolt on a road trip. I know how to make my own, and they're a bit better, but better for me to gorge myself on a box of four vs. being tempted by an entire batch in my kitchen. Seriously...I may drive to one this weekend. Closest is about 21 miles. Or I wait 3 weeks when I have to drive to OK. Leaving right after work and will likely need a sugary jolt after fighting Dallas traffic.

In case anyone wants visuals and sweet suggestion...

FWIW -
#1 and things of its kind (like #9) are tough to eat when you're the driver.
#3 may be good but I've written off all of their rice cereal treats after a bad experience with a Fruity Pebbles variety.
#4 is legit if you like cinnamon rolls. It's DD17s thing.
#10 is one of the fudge varieties that I've tried and usually skip because it's got more of a corn syrup gummy mouth feel to it vs. rich pecan praline. If you've had a lot of fudge, you'll know what I mean.
#12 is a hard no. I got that stack of cookies once and they were dry as a bone.
#13 should be good but they have a strange aftertaste. I thought it was just me but we've had several other people try them and have the same opinion.

I think once they are open awhile parking isn't an issue. There were tons of open spots both Friday and Saturday when we were there.
Ones I pass are not only packed each time but the traffic to get to them comes down on the exit ramps. I've never seen one without traffic.

When we have stopped we never easily got a parking spot. A couple times we had to park behind the building and sadly they only have doors on three sides. Often seen folks leave their car at pump and go in for lack of parking .... 😯

My comment was to the person who asked why no seating to eat ~ because they want you to leave. If I'm going to eat in my car I might as well start driving too. And that opens a spot for the next shopper. No tables or picnic tables is smart for turnover.

LOL yeah that response was to me.
The only time I have had trouble parking was the first time I went, which was the year it opened. Every other year I have been, parking hasn't been an issue. I'm sure some are busy 24/7, but they aren't all that way. I still think a few tables for people to eat, wouldn't be that huge of a problem. More people might even buy brisket, if they could sit and eat it quick.

Is it just me or is saying "Bucees is just a gas station/store." is like saying "The Polynesian is just a hotel."?

And saying Disney is just an amusement park… yep!
FACT: The Polynesian is just a hotel and WDW is just an amusement park. Buck-ee's is just a gas station/store. They are up graded because of theming and size, but are still what they are. Designed to entertain, accommodate and drain every nickel you have. We all do it willingly and it isn't evil, just a little over the top but they surely do not want anyone to hang around after they have surgically removed all your dollars and cents.

Well, of course. The point is that they ARE upgraded versions of their core business purpose.
