Hey Gang,
Wheels kinda fell off our "Family Christmas Trip" you see in my ticker. DS changed jobs so he and fiancee can't make it . DD is a teacher and has school the week of the Dec 19th and principal clamped down and no vacation days allowed that week so that took her out.

DW and I are still going on the 14th for two nights in a studio. DGS is going to fly down alone on the 16th and the three of us will be checking into a 2br villa. WOW...Talk about plenty of room! Three of us in a 2br. Maybe we can get a lockoff and just open the connecting door and move into the rest of our villa on the 16th! It's a DVC stay booked on points so no backing out now. Still excited. Just have to back all those 6 person ADR's to 3.

Okay, is it just me or are some posts out of order? I feel like I am going crazy trying to keep up. I see where some people have responded to a post that is not showing up until maybe the next page. Not just here either. I saw it on the Budget Board today too.

Cause after spending time with Teena, we are planning on hanging around the hotel on the 12th and can't wait to see what all is going on!!!!!

Mike, sorry your whole family can't make it! It must be such a disappointment. Sounds like you will have an awesome trip anyway.

Rusty, YES the posts are out of order!!

I'm pricing out our ADRs and seeing if getting the DDP or DxDP would make sense. Can I add a dining plan after the 45 day mark without penalty because it is an upgrade? Or would I have to make that change before full payment is due?

Hey Mike, have you considered ADOPTION??? My husband would LOVE to get RID OF ME and any home that goes to Disney is good enough for me! As for that 2 bedroom situation I don't snore and any farting on my part is virtually non-existent. (too bad I can't say that about the rest of the family! OMG you have NO idea how I suffer with them around!!!)

I have NO shame so I could sneak into club level and bring you back some 'snacks' and I'm really good at testing the temperature in pools so I could tell you if it were too cold or too hot! As for the parks I hit them at rope drop and stay until they kick me out when they close so you'd be getting your money's worth there!

Yep, I'd say I'm ready for a family that will APPRECIATE all the fine things I bring to life. No more whining about my endless leftovers or money savings schemes! I'm hittin the road Jack and I ain't gonna look back!

Check out the ticker... I've booked the next trip... Just me this time!! This will be a first for me... going to Disney alone I have 86 points I have to use by September 2012... and I've ALWAYS wanted to go to Yankee Spring Training... so I booked for 4 nights and bought 2 tickets to a game in Tampa (2 tickets incase DD can make it down) I'll add DD to the ressie if she can make it. I'm booked at Kadani for now hoping to get into Jambo CL. I think I'm just going to use this as a non park visit and just lounge around the pool!! Relaxing vacation!!! I'm going to continue to hang around this thread cause well I LOVE it here!! Dee if you need anyone to keep a list let me know.. ready willing and able!

Feckless - I think you can upgrade your dining plan up to 48 hours before you check in, but I am not sure if that is just DVC or not.

Checking in!! BC is our 1.5th (just a .5 behind the Poly) favorite resort, and we're excited to be headed back in May!! We've been at the Poly (with a split at WL) on our last two trips, but the kids are demanding their SAB. We're thinking of an AKL/BC split this time. So excited to be back on this thread.

I've been lurking on this thread for a few days now and figured it was about time to post and introduce myself.

My name is Lori, and my BFF (who is also lurking...she may be reading this right now...)and I have just booked a girls trip to WDW next October. We rented DVC points and will be staying in a studio at BCV for twelve nights. We are both super excited to stay at the Beach Club...it is going to be a long wait...I am hoping time flies.

This is going to be my first visit to the World (although I have been to Disneyland several times), but my BFF actually was a cast member at the Canadian pavillion in Epcot about ten years ago, so she is going 'home'.

Anyway, I just wanted to say that I enjoy this thread. You all seem like a friendly bunch and I look forward to lurking (and posting) here over the next eleven months.

I am in a similar boat to you. My family is headed to yacht club in June.
We are huge Disneyland veterans (going tomorrow as it happens). We have as a group either never gone to Disney World... Or haven't gone since the late 90's. It's going to be quite an experience for us also. Good Luck and welcome!

woke up this morning to my little disney countdown on my computer....

THIRTEEN DAYSSSSSSSSSSSS and we will be there!!! We simply cant wait! It will be Pirate Mickey (the DH), the Disney Twins (20 year old boy and girl) and the Disney Princess (13 year old daughter).....between all the texting and calling going on....it is still unclear as to which one of the gang is MOST excited!! We are celebrating 2 birthdays, 1st all together FAMILY trip in 6 years....and celebrating our family!..haha! We are so weird!

Just remembered some BCV news I meant to post two weeks ago when we returned from WDW. Although we weren't staying at BCV, we did visit for lunch and dinner on two different days. There is now food delivery to the BCV pool!

There are little signs on the tables with a number to call. Excellent IMO and I can't wait to give it a try.

Sorry about the change in your plans but you certainly have the right attitude. We may be in the same boat in February. We have a 2 BR booked but right now it looks like there may only be three of us. Somehow, we'll make do.
