Yes, room service is limited overnight but I'm glad it's offered again. It wasn't for a few years.

Full breakfast service starts at 6am. Continental breakfast is on the all night menu.

Here's a link with the all night menu down a bit:

I love the "create your own Sunday." What a pleasant thought. :goodvibes

Thanks for the responses! We should be good to go for breakfast then. Sorry I posted something that had already been asked. But this thread is 81 pages long!!

Hi all! Love this thread...catching up is always a challenge though. It flies!

Quick question - does anyone know if the BC if fully booked at the end of September? We're going 9/25-10/3 and just trying to see how crowded it will be. DH's DB and SiL live an hour away from WDW and they may want to do a last minute overnight at BC so they can hang out with us. It would have to be a last minute decision b/c DBiL is on call from day to day.

Can't believe the trip is two weeks away. We've never been to the BC OR WDW (me, DH, DS9, DD7, DS3), and I feel like it's already a second home to us! :lovestruc Thanks for all the great info and insight...

I love to see when people say it's their first time to the BC or WDW but both new adventures for you!!!!!!! WOW  You will be on :cloud9:
You won't believe your eyes, ears and taste buds.:mickeybar Have a wonderful time. Can't wait to hear what you think after you get back. We can help you get through the withdrawal process too. :sad2: The cure is to start planning another trip back. :upsidedow

Both sides have their own. If you are staying at the YC, you have to go there. If you are staying at the BC, you have to go to the BC. You can check in your bags any time before 1 PM ... doesn't matter if your flight is at midnight.

Thanks for the info. We are doing DHS the last day so we will check the bags before going there.

I went to disneyworld.com and checked each night and there was availability as of 5:00 this afternoon. One night all they had was a 1 bedroom suite, but the other nights there was availability for a standard or sometimes a water view room. I did not check the Yacht Club, but that could be an option for them too.

The Food & Wine Festival begins the night of the 30th so availability could be very iffy once that gets going. I think it is chancy, but possible for your family members to find a room.

Staying at BC for first time. Do the daybeds fold flat? If not how do they accomodate families of five?:)

Hi everyone,

We are staying YC CL so I should NOT do online check-in, correct? Simply check-in at the CL desk?

When we check out and check in for our flight home (Delta), will the CMs be able to get us our seat assignments? Our return flight is full according to Delta.com, but the Delta rep. told me that they always keep a few rows off-line.

Thanks!

SInce the rehab of the club level recently I saw a video of a couple who
were videotaping the new room and it appears that the club level room has been relocated all together based on the view from the window.
And then they show the room itself and it hit me.
THey converted a suite to the club level lounge. I remember that fireplace.
Is this true? One of the nice suites was taken down for the club level?

Regardless, the club level looks ALOT more appealing now. The decor, The serving setup, etc. IT all looks real good

Too bad a suite was sacrificed for it though

Not sure what you are talking about but they did not convert a suite into the club level lounge. The lounge is in the exact same place that it was before.

While the lounge itself was being renovated and therefore not able to be used, they used different suites as the club level lounge ... only for a week or two.

Oh thank god it wasnt permanant. Have dreams of one day staying in one of those suites, the dream almost got squashed. Phew

When you get a bounce back offer in the room, do you have to book another vacation before you leave? where do you book it?

Do you have to know the exact dates? or can you leave it open for any date that you want? (do you book any dates and then change the dates when you know when you want to go back)

Do you have to travel within a year? or can it be two years out?

Is it a full deposit or a partial deposit?

Can someone explain to me why a water view at YC is more expensive than a water view at BC? Still trying to decide between the two.

You do need to book it before you leave. There is usually a card in the room with the dates and deals and there is a phone number on that to call. I believe you have to give them dates, but you can change them later. As long as there is still availability for the dates under the offer you can switch them around. I think the offer is usually only good for the following year period, but I'm not sure. We booked a July 2010 trip in December 09.

You do need to put down the deposit - It was $200 for the one room when we did it.

Hi! Thanks for the kind words about the photos and the thread.

There is a Nescafe machine in the lounge- you can make coffee, espresso, hot cocoa, lots of choices. You operate it yourself, one cup at a time, so I believe you can get coffee any time the lounge is open.

So here is a confession from the self-appointed queen of coffee and photos. I didn't take a picture of the machine! WHAT?????? But I think I have one stashed away that someone else took so I will post it when I have time.

Question for Teena- how did the 24 hour CL experiment go? Still going on? Took off like a lead balloon? Haven't heard any comments from guests.

Thanks Dee and Teena! I actually forgot about the new 24 hour lounge - and if that that means 24 hour coffee, then yipee!

Wow - so much love for Jellyrolls! We'll put that on our list for if we have energy. We've been known to think one thing sitting at home and then make a different decision when we're actually there! (Tell me I'd be ordering malts all around for our kids at Beaches and Cream at 10:55pm after a day at the parks, and I would have thought that was crazy - but we did it!) If we lack energy, maybe we'll do either Crew's Cup or Martha's Vineyard. Anyone have a preference between the two?

There is no difference. The rack rate for the waterview at the BC is the same as the rack rate for the waterview at the YC. If you go to the Walt Disney World website, look up accommodations and then click on the BC waterview room rates ... it shows $420. Then do the same for the YC room rates - it shows $420 --- they are identical. However, just like on an airline, there are discounts. The same waterview rooms at either the YC or the BC --- so many are put aside for the various discounts (annual passholder discount, AAA discount, bounceback discounts, etc.) Therefore, the same waterview room at the BC and YC could cost different people different amounts, depending on their discount or whether they are paying rack rate, etc. And room only rates are calculated differently than package rates. So many rooms are set aside for this package and that package. It's very similar to an airline. The same seat on Southwest from Orlando to Vegas could cost me $220 roundtrip versus a friend of mine that booked the exact same flights two weeks later ... she could be paying $340 ... it's the same seat. Sorry ... it's very hard to explain.

Just posting as off to the Yacht Club in 6 days time for 2 weeks with the parents! Cant wait! Have read absolutely everything about the resort and it sounds amazing! Just hoping the weather stays nice so I can enjoy SAB!

Thats good to know, at least I don't have to pick a date to go back right away- I have time to plan another vacation when I get home. Can't wait to go to my favorite place 90 more long days!!!
