2010 news from the Magic

Disney is stopping every 12 days in Copenhagen Looks like they are doing 12 day cruises....

YES You have got it!!!!!

SCREEN PRINT JUST IN CASE IT GETS EDITED NOW!

Seems to only be there for a few cruises up to Early July so there must be a few special cruises Transatlantics as I suggested, and some Northern Europe ones as well.

This is a screen print of the last one.

And if you count the days in between stops in Copenhagen (June 15, June 27, July 9), it looks like we have a 12-night cruise!!!

so now the question is...where will the ship leave from????
It says the stop before is Oslo...so? When does it leave from the baltic? Why is July the last date? What else could they be doing...anyone know if there is an alternate itin. available up there? I am not familiar with that area...

Jodie...are you impressed with me...I so wish I had your number I would have called you first thing!

Finally some proof!! Yes, 12 nights will be awesome.:goodvibes

It could have various HOME ports, I have said I think its Southampton UK, but Dover or Harwich UK, are possibilites all have good connections to London and also Disneyland Paris.

Also it will come accross the Atlantic to Europe and Southampton is a good base for that.

Remember it might have to break the journey up each way hence a short time in Oslo.

It would leave something around 2nd week of May 2010 and get back late August first week of September.

WOW! Great job! I bet there are some DCL exec's swearing a little bit underneath their breath. Maybe they will now speed up the announcement. They must have a love/hate relationship with DISers!

I would LOVE to do the crossing, but afraid it will conflict with school times. Eldest will be in 6th grade, going on 7th grade. Maybe May during 6th grade would be ok...
Can't wait to see all the stops!

Well looks like 'confirmation' what we have been saying all Summer its the BALTIC for Summer 2009, with some special transatlantics both ways.

Oh what a clever to catch it.

nope, naughty steph!:rotfl:

Well they (DCL) wouldn't speak to me, I posted the Baltic months back, and 'got sent to Coventry'.

(As I posted that, I thought apart from UK dissers, others might not know That saying, it means they wouldn't speak to me).

and as you can see I have saved Screen prints as last time the Villafrance ones disappeared within hours and other Dissers didn't believe it had been there.

Andrew, it is a bit eerie how you got this right on! Can you repeat what other stops you think it might have?

So does it mean that Oslo would be the preceding port and Warnemunde the following port?

Oslo, St Petersburg, Copenhagen, maybe Hamburg, and it hasnt been mentioned but Amsterdam I would guess, home port Southampton UK,

So Disney goes to Russia!!!!!!!

Hamburg you could visit the shipvard for the new ships, and maybe the workers there would be able ot get a first hand view of the existing ship!

That would be a great shore excursion wouldn't it - great marketing for DCL to show off their new ships. Wow, I'd love to go to a ship yard!

I just checked the airfare from Newark NJ to London, it is $850 or so per person one way, that will really add a LOT to the total for the crossing......
