2010 news from the Magic

Amazing detective work!! I am so impressed.
Any ideas when the WB-TA would happen? Our kids don't return to school until after Labor Day usually.

Last time it was the end of Aug. We were back in PC on Sept. 1.

Latest August 14th 2010 back to PC.-But thats not from the Baltic. I looks like leaving there far earlier, so maybe, from West Europe.

There's no way in heck we'll be able to swing making it on one of these cruises, but nonetheless I'm so excited!! LOL Great work finding out the info!

So from clicking on the link it looks like the Magic will be coming from Warnemunde(Rostock/Berlin) to Copenhagen then on to Oslo. Cool, that means there is a good chance St. Petersburg will be a port. :)

Agree, St Petersburg, Russia has been mentioned a lot, I think thats a done deal on these cruises. Now will they give us all a one day visa?

I'm not 100% sure, but I think the order is reversed. I don't speak the language, but Oslo is listed with a time of 0700 and Warnemunde is listed with 1800. So, I would assume that means the ship will arrive in Copenhagen at 7 am, coming from Oslo, and then depart at 6 pm, heading on to Warnemunde.

So maybe a 15 night return to PC, back to a 7-night Sat-Sat schedule?? That would be a great cruise.

If you book a ship sponsored tour, it's taken care of by the cruiseline. Also it is not required if you arrive by cruiseship, stay less than 72 hours and are on a tour arranged through an authorized Russian travel agency.

Could be, I don't speak Danish so I just sorta looked up the words.

The Magic will be doing its usual 7 night Eastern and Western cruises from January to early May and from September to December, ( possible odd port amendment but unlikely as they have to call at certain ports a minimum level of times each year).

The Wonder will still go back and forth on its 3/4 night cruises, all year, boring but profitable,

::yes:: I agree...

I really, really hope St Petersburg is one of the stops - that would make it very special...

Wow - I get home from church and you have figured out where the Magic is going in 2010! Great detective work!!

Regarding St. Petersburg and visas: if you are on a ship's tour - you are covered under a group visa. We did a 2-day tour with a private company that also provided a group visa. If you go on your own, you'll have to get your own visa.

I don't think Amsterdam will be one of the ports, as the ship needs a sea day to travel farther, especially if it is going all the way to St. Petersburg. I also think you'll make a stop in Stockholm and maybe Helsinki.

Doesn't matter what the other ports of call are, I'll be there! Somewhere new and exciting. Can't wait to see the prices and see if I can swing the TA again too.

So would you plan for the EB Repo and the first N Europe cruise Gydell?

Do you think it will start 8/28/10 or 9/4/10 in PC? I'm hoping 8/28, as our kids start school on 8/30.
