Sorry I have been so late updating the list today. We had a wee emergency today and I spent the day in the ER with my mother. All is well thank God, especially since we have a Disney Trip planned soon!

Thanks for all your good wishes and thoughts. It means so much. Thankfully coming up with my

I seriously would not know what to do with all the waiting for emails and decisions if I were not the one to keep "The List"!

I think our next trip will actually over lap the start of the training period for this years Panel so I just might get to say Hello to a few of you all!

I would love to be part of this panel but being in huge tie for 201st place is a pretty sweet place to be too! Plus I can just relax and watch you all sweat it out! No witty answers to develop or reason to stress over which terrible picture of me to crop and send in with the next answers!

Watching you all sweat is not all bad!

Count me among those who submitted their second round responses this evening ...and I too had to dig deep into the archives to find a photo where I'm actually in front of the camera!

I plan to occupy myself for the next thirteen days by prepping for my family's next "world" adventure set to begin on the 28th! The anticipation of the outcome of this round coupled with the upcoming trip is definitely going to keep me on an adrenalin rush!

Best of luck to everyone going forward and a big thank you to the current and former Mom's Panel participants for all of their kind words of encouragement to all of us newbies (on this board and others!)!

Thanks all! I actually live in Tifton, Ga, not Tipton- no biggie. We're about 3.5 hours north of Disney! I'm still waiting on the email....

I'm originally from Tifton! My parents and my husband's parents and his sister still live there. It takes a lot longer to get to Disney from New York for sure!

I got the email from Disney as well - I made it to the second round! YEA!

33 DIS members and counting is pretty impressive. I'm the only guy in the 33, not sure if that is good or bad, but considering that I'm a single parent, I guess I 'm at least part Mom too.

As far as I'm concerned, it obviously would be nice to be part of an official Disney panel, but being on this and other web boards is pretty much the same thing. I enjoy talking to fellow Disney lovers, giving and getting advice, swapping trivia and tips etc. Whether it be on an official or unofficial web site, it's the friendships and fun that makes it worthwhile.

That said:

I think we should choose a DIS representative for the Mom's panel. As the only guy I think it's my duty to suggest naked mud wrestling!! Just a thought.

Are you on FB? There is a 2010 Moms Panel Hopeful group that has formed and I think there is another dad or two there if you'd like to meet them.
