Well this just doesnt look good...extending the Kids play and stay free for GP is not a good sign.

Honestly that PROMO is SO MISLEADING..cause Kids Stay FREE all the time LOL. So they should just say get FREE Park Tickets for kids. LOL

Just one more rumor to add to the already spinning rumor mill. I called to just add the Disney Visa code to the room that has our 3 little ones in it. It saves us 400.00....so better than nothing. When the CM asked if I wanted to add the code to our second room I told him it wouldn't matter, that no one under that room was under 9. He said that he was sure that something would come out in the next few weeks so to keep checking....that he was sure that there would be something come out that I'd want to price out. He kind of hinted that I was just a bit too early....but something was coming. Soooooo, still got everything crossed for FD

just finished the 5 pages that were added here since I logged off last night . My we are a chatty bunch! Question, though OT, someone mentioned a refurb of TSM? I've looked at the refurb schedule on allears & I don't see anything mentioned? Info please? DD & I love this ride.

Before all this waiting and speculating I was perfectly happy staying at Pop and paying for the DP - FD would be great but we were doing Disney either way!

Then we decided that we needed to go visit Harry for the day.

Then we thought if FD is offered, we'd upgrade to POFQ and go visit Harry for the day.

Now I'm thinking if there is no FD, we'll split our time between POP and one of the Universal hotels. Our airfare is booked, but that doesn't mean I have to stay only at Disney.

Sigh. Vacation planning used to be so much simpler!

We saw that too and checked into it last night. I saw on another site that they are replacing a couple of games to coincide with the release of TS3 in June. It looks like it would only be shut down for a day to add this as it will all be computerized. I don't know the correct lingo but it's something like that!

I hope its only down for 1 day, because we will be there Aug 21-29. I only got to ride TSM on our last trip in 2008. I loved it and would like to do it again. I think its all rumor at this point.

Yeah, not losing hope of Free Dining, yet b/c when I go to possibly book using the kids discount, it says 'Summer Kids Stay and Play Offer.' My dates are in mid/late September...so... I'm thinking that a 'Fall offer' is still on the way. Hopefully, it will include the September time frame, as well.

This is listed as a rumour on stitchkingdom.com. I've heard a couple different rumours about it. One is that they're changing games but that it should be a very quick change as it's software only (max 1 day). The other is that it's a change to the exit area which brings it down for my entire August trip. At this point, both are still just rumours. Disney has not confirmed anything.

LOL, ignorance is bliss. I always fret over the silliest things....and the Internet only adds to those flames (self medical diagnosis, discounts you never knew existed, news from across the globe updated every minute).....I worry so much about things I used to not care about, or really had no reason to. Now that I have been during FD though....it's so hard not to get something equally priced....still hoping we're able to this year.

Anyhoo - I just talked to a CM to add the kids stay and play free through 10/2 promo and asked about free dining and he said "I can't comment on that, but keep checking. Keep your eyes open this week". Sounds hopeful.

Hi all. I booked FD on BB last year and I booked WL standard room. I have to change my dates and the CM says that under FD, there are no standard rooms??? FD hasn't even come out yet for the GP or DV holders has it? How can there be no rooms? There ARE standard rooms for the dates I need to change to but BB was last year so I'm not sure how the rooms are booked. They were not booked a month ago when I first checked. Does this also mean that if FD is announced for the GP, there will be not standard WL rooms?

Would they really have two offers going at the same time for DVisa - the kids play/stay/dine free AND free dining. You think they would have one or the other, but not both.

Maybe the DVisa stays as is the the GP offer is free dining?

Didn't both the Disney Visa site and the GP site have the kids stay/play offer AND the up to $700 giftcard offers up for a while? I swear I saw both offers simultaneously on at least one of the sites, if not both, for quite a while. If that's true, it would make sense that they'd offer free dining in addition to the kids offer, and people can choose which works out better for them. Maybe they are trying to please both the families with small kids who just want quick, easy meals (QSDP) and the adult travelers who are more interested in longer dining experiences, and they'll offer regular DP. Just throwing it out there, but, really, who knows.

With bounceback I thought I'd heard you could only make changes to it until the bounceback/promo ended. So whatever date the bounceback had to be booked by would have been the last date you had to make changes. There is no FD out right now so he can't change your dates to anything other than what you have because the code is no longer valid and he wouldn't have a FD code to add to your new dates.

I had to change my dates last year from December to this September and the code was no longer valid when we moved our reservation dates, so we're waiting for FD to be released and we'll add it back on.

I *think* with the BB they only alot so many rooms and with you booking the BB last year..all the standard rooms that they allotted for BB are booked...again I only *think*.

I could do without dessert. I just don't feel it is worth the money anymore without it. You get one CS meal and drink (no dessert), one TS entree and drink (no deseert) and a snack. I can easily buy that for not mucjh more than $41.99. I am not a most expensive thing on the nmenu type of person. It doesn't bother me to just buy my meals outright, so that is what I would do. Except for with free dining. That certainly makes it worth it. But this will likely be our only free dining trip, if it even happens this year.

Thats true.....I wouldn't feel that paying for the dining would be worth it then, but when we get FD I'm fine with losing my dessert and paying OOP for any that we did want. We don't get an appetizer at every meal, but there are some that we hate to miss that we've paid for OOP....we'd do that for any desserts we enjoyed. Paying for the dining plan isn't really worth it if you're budget minded though and can share meals...etc like we do.
