**2010** Epcot Food & Wine Festival ENDED 11/14. 2011 FESTIVAL 9/30-11/13

Also, that reminds me of something else I learned. You're not allowed to exit the park (at least thru the International Gateway) with a cup of wine. So if you were thinking of getting a cup nearby, then sipping it as you walk back to BWV, forget it! A few years ago, they made me stand inside the gate and finish my wine before I exited. And since I was catching ME soon, I drank kinda fast. It was the one time I was glad I got a small serving. Or did I get an overzealous security person that day?

That's the rule! :drinking: No open container of alcohol allowed through the gates (in or out)!

I have hugged a plastic bag very close to me as exiting the International gateway :) but a flask would be spill proof! I wonder if an adult sippy cup would be considered a closed container?

If you bring your own plastic wine glass and balance it just right in your back pack, that works too! ;)

I have these wonderful bags I have been tempted to bring to WDW for just this purpose Wine Doggy Bags:

Come, on ~ just go "red neck" and pour your wine into an empty plastic water bottle! Brown bag optional.

I'm out of the wine part of the food and wine fest this year since I'll be 5 mos preggo when I get there, but am totally looking forward to the food part. yum!

I'm still wondering why they would choose pork for the Brazil booth. You don't eat pork with farofa, you eat picanha (cut of beef) with farofa.

Thanks for posting the Orlando Sentinel link!

Looks yummmmmmmy!

That one glass of wine appears in every photo...at least it's not the thimble glass.

I know.. Jason said how may angles can they have on one mussel??!:lmao:
Happy to see big boy glasses in the picture now lets see what we get!:goodvibes

I think they want the media to get drunk, but not us (unless we pay for a wine dinner that is)
