2010 Confirmed DDP Snack Credits/Add updates here

I went yesterday and the lines were all very short - much shorter than they were during the Wine & Dine Half Marathon after party! I used my snack credits for the more expensive items, but paid cash for the cheaper ones (like the $1.50 brownie at the Dessert booth).

When at the parks, how do you know which is on the DP? Does each snack have a sign or anything that says what's on the DP or not?

Snacks that are included have a dining plan symbol next to them on the menu boards.

Anyone know if the new treat shop in Germany Karamel Kuche offers any items for snack credits?

I do! We just checked this one out on Friday. Contrary to previous reports it was not open before F&W opened. We were there on Wed., the 29th and the shop wasn't open yet.

Here's a picture of the sign. You can get a small caramel corn or a gourmet caramel using a SC. I really wanted to get something here but the long was pretty long. :confused3

Here's the outside of the shop.

And here's a picture I took on 9/29 of the inside of the shop. I took this from outside. I found a gap in the paper covering the window

We were at the F&W festival on Friday and Saturday. We were able to use SC for any of the "tastes" And yes even the lobster roll at over $7. Lines did vary. Sometimes they would be very long and then 15 min. later, short. As someone who wasn't getting any wine or beer I wish they had a food only line. Seems like the wine took awhile to serve. :confused3;)

I found some close up blog pics and the choc or vanilla caramel cupcake, caramel creme roll, and fudge all have the snack logo at karamell kuche.

Yes it was 4.19 everywhere. I guess it will turn out to be like the funnel cakes and depending on the CM you will or won't get to use a snack credit. I guess I didn't luck out. I don't understand how they decide what constitutes a snack credit, because the Dole Whip floats increased to 4.19 as well but still have the symbol next to it. :confused3

Sounds like a repeat of the funnel cakes, for sure. We were told "no" on ice cream sandwich at Main Street Bakery, too (and no DP sign by the cookies designated as ice-cream-sandwich-cookies)

I didn't see those but then I couldn't really get close to the display window.

So does that mean all the make your own treats (pretzel rods, mickey mouse rice crispy treats) can no longer be used as snack credits at goofy's candy co? That's too bad because those were great!

This may be obvious, but the small Kappuccinos at the Kona Cafe Breakfast Bar (@ the Poly) are a snack credit and they are real coffee (made with espresso machine). We used about 14 snack credits for these!

Thanks for this tip !!Did you try the lobster rolls ???

I had a lobster roll. No way was it worth $7.50. Thankfully, we used a snack credit, turning a poor value into a decent one :thumbsup2

Something to add to the big list: Neither the tea place in DAK Asia nor the tea place in Epcot China takes snack credits.

We did. Used a snack credit for it as well as one of the crab cakes. Both were pretty good. Not great though. I couldn't really taste the lobster in the roll and I like my crab cakes a little denser. But still pretty tasty and a great use of 2 SC.:goodvibes

jjohnson: Just in case nobody's told you lately....THANKS for keeping this thread going. It's been such a great resource. Any time somebody asks me what they can use a snack credit on, I tell them that there's this great list maintained by a wonderful person on the Disboards and then I send them straight here. Thanks again!

I got 4 lobster rolls. They seemed smaller than last year, and had quite a bit of filler (celery and peppers?) that I don't remember from last year. Definitely not worth $7.25 (I think that's what they were charging), but well worth a snack credit.

shucks! I was just at Goofy's two days ago and my tired brain can't remember much; wish I had taken a picture.

What I do remember is that the (3) make your own pretzel rods are now $8.95 and the marshmellows and rice crispy MYO are $4.95, one dip, one topping, and one drizzle, additional toppings $1.00 each. I don't remember anything in the MYO with the DDP symbol (fried brain). In the 45 minutes that we were in the store, I was the only customer in the MYO area.
