As far as the icecream sandwich at Main Street....we definitely will check that out! My oldest dd has been wanting one all year since seeing the picture of it on here and we'll be buying one OOP if it's not included on the DDP as a snack. We'll also be paying OOP for caramel apples....my fav!

Thanks, TheRatPack! I would have to pay OOP for the ice cream sandwich too which is kind of shame because we have a zillion credits thanks to the DxDDP. But that ice cream sandwich is a tradition, gosh darn it! Have a great trip.

Not to mention...if it's 3 snacks then can't we use 3 snack credits? And a snack is usually around 3.00....so is an icecream cookie normally 9.00??? I think not LOL

I am shocked to read about the ice cream cookie sandwich! How sad! We were just there from Sept. 3-14 and we had 3 over the course of our stay. There was no DDP icon next to the item, but we asked and were able to use a snack credit each time.

We couldn't, however, use a snack credit on the ham and cheese croissant in the France Bakery. The CM said it would be a counter service credit, so we bought it OOP. It is only like $3.25 so I don't know who would use a counter service credit on it- unless you were getting a drink and dessert with it as well, but she didn't offer it to us that way.

No listings for Hollywood Scoops at DHS. Does anyone know if any of their ice cream treats are snacks?

The ice cream sandwich at Main St has come and gone a few times. It has been gone as a snack credit for a number of resorts for a few months which doesn't bode well. At PO-FQ they did offer the silly 3 credit option too ;P

please consider this the occasionally necessary post that says please play nice. If you do not like how someone resonds or have a differing opinion, walk away.

thank you,

I do remember a couple previous scares in the past few years on the subject of the ice cream sandwich, LOL. I wouldn't be surprised at all if it were gone forever (but I still hope not!).

The Food & Wine Festival doesn't start for a couple days, but many of the menu boards are up and it looks like snack credits will once again be accepted for all of the food samples. (The ones I saw today at Epcot had the purple and white DDP logos.)

Just came back from 20 days in Orlando, 14 in WDW and before I forget:
- Kagi gori in Epcot - Japan can be bought as a snack credit. I had 2 or 3 of them, delicious!:lovestruc
- Baklava in the Morrocos kiosk was not a snack credit. and my fiance did not liked as much as I expected!
- Churros on San Angello Inn with four sticks and a lovely caramel souce can be bought as a snack credit and they were the most delicious snack in our entire voyage! Best buy with a SC IMHO!
byes!

I just got back yesterday and yes the ice cream cookie sandwiches are no longer a snack credit. I looked at three different places and got a "no" at all three. Sorry for the bad news.

I want to say it was 4.19 at main street bakery. It did not have the snack credit symbol so we did not use it as a snack credit. The guy behind DH said snack credit and they let him use it:confused3 It was worth the price, it was really good!:thumbsup2

I hope so !!That will be a great way to use an sc !!!

Yes it was 4.19 everywhere. I guess it will turn out to be like the funnel cakes and depending on the CM you will or won't get to use a snack credit. I guess I didn't luck out. I don't understand how they decide what constitutes a snack credit, because the Dole Whip floats increased to 4.19 as well but still have the symbol next to it. :confused3

All the samples? For some reason I thought some of the snacks weren't SC eligible on last year's boards. I'd be more than happy to be wrong.

Thank you for this fantastic list!! I've copied and pasted parts that I need to take a list with me, so if we want a particular snack we'll know where to get it.

Just left disney all star movie resort. Bagels ,cereal, milk also disney snack credit. In fact in the very back wall section everything back there you can get as a snack. Everything except alcohol of course. But chocolate milk, regular milk, danishes, muffins, all kinds of sodas, chips. So works out great for breakfast get a bagel and cream cheese or some cereal and milk as snack credit etc lol :)

I went yesterday, and I don't recall seeing any food samples that WEREN'T available as snacks. I walked the World Showcase and I think I looked at every booth, but I wasn't particularly looking to see if there were any exceptions. I only waited in line at a couple (lobster rolls, priced at $7.25 were a snack credit again!), as the lines were VERY long. Most looked to be a 15-30 minute wait.

I'll be back tomorrow and will try to see if I notice any exceptions. If I remember right from last year, there might have been one or two. (One of the sushi choices, maybe? I don't do sushi, so I didn't even look at that one.)

I hope the lines are shorter. There were several others I wanted to try, but not bad enough to wait 30 minutes. (The lobster rolls were worth it, though!)

I just got back Sat. And I WAS able to use a SC in the French bakery for a ham and cheese crescent. :confused3

I paid more attention yesterday, and didn't see any food samples that weren't available as snacks. The lines were quite a bit shorter, so I got to sample several. The Fisherman's Pie in Ireland might be my new favorite! Apparently it made it's debut last year (how did I miss that?).

Here's a list of all of the booths, with links to photos of the menu boards:
