** 2010 Annual Dues Notices: BLT, BCV, HHI, VB, VGC...

Your contract will specify what happens with the dues for the 2009 calendar year. Not 100% sure, but I believe dues have to be current for the sale to go through. Assuming you close before the end of the year, the process for 2010 should be as I described.


Yes. I call Member Accounting and give them my cc info and my Disney Rewards card info to pay our dues. But the 800 number is crazy busy in January due to all the people calling to make 11 month reservations for the following December.

curses! ours are the highest hikes this year yet... (GCV and WLV)... Still waiting for BWV. Hopefully it won't be higher (in %-tage) than those 2.

We received our AKV notice today (11/23/2010). We had already received our BLT notice on 11/21/2009. We were pleasantly surprised to see that AKV is going up only 1.9%.

Ya, VWL is new for me this year and I was a bit surprised at the increase. My AKV was less than 2% which I think is fantastic. Right now I'm glad the majority of my points are AKV! Of course, I'm sure that will change as the resort gets older like the others. On the other hand, I guess most of them are in the 3% range (besides HHI and VB) so maybe VWL isn't so bad.


Now I need to check on my budget before January 15!!

No, once you are set up for the auto-debit method DVC will continue that format unless instructed otherwise. If you used auto-debit for 2009 it will automatically continue for 2010 unless you change it with Member Accounting.

My AKV was dated 5/3/09 for the 5/1 occupancy start.

I saw a post that said they were usually due around 1/15 so I'm wondering how far in advance they generate the statements. Does it show up on-line beforehand?

Paper statements should be in the mail shortly after the association meeting on 12/9/2009. They will also be posted on the member website around the same time they are mailed out. Our last couple have been dated around the 18th of December.

Members usually receive the statements by the end of the year. Annual fees are due by January 15 (or before arrival if prior to that date) and are late after February 15 unless auto-debit has been arranged. Dues will be posted on the member site.
 
Has anyone gotten OKW yet? My Vero arrived today but still waiting on OKW.
