Is this still the official thread for Third Annual Fall Ladies trip?

Sorry I've been MIA - time seems to evaporate these days. Have been trying to find a friend to come along or at least a roomie to make the trip more affordable, but with the economy no one feels it's possible.

Still hoping to make it though - maybe renting points so will not have to do another POP stay - would love a balcony. Rec'd a pin code for 40% off, but darn, it was in someone else's name and Disney will not let me use it b/c it is an email pin code. Oh, well...them's the breaks.

What's the latest plans? Am I too late to join in some ADR's?

I will be checking into BWV on 10/3 - 10/7. I am bringing a friend along who is interested in the Food and Wine Festival (after hearing lots of good things from me) so we plan to spend lots of time at Epcot. We will not be park hopping this trip. I have the Tables in Wonderland card so will not be using the dining plan. I am still checking out the menus on the allears site trying to decide where to eat. Love to plan! Hoping to meet up at some time with the Fall Ladies group.

when do you plan to do Jellyrolls... would love to tag along...

Jellyrolls!!!

I haven't choosen which evening yet. I figured not on Saturday because some are doing PFTS and probably not Monday if the others are going to MNSSHP so that more would be able to go to Jellyrolls .... so give a shout out if you would like to meet at Jellyrolls. That probably leaves Sunday night or Tuesday night to choose from. Warning!!! ... I can't hold a tune but I just love to sing along!!

yay, I just got my reservations straightened out! I'm at AKV Jambo from Sept. 27-Oct. 1, then at OKW until Oct. 8.

Travelling solo looks like, so I'd love to join in the activities, especially any group dinners. Anywhere is fine, but I really like Flying Fish and California Grill, and I'd like to try Sanaa and maybe the new Paridiso restaurant? If anyone is up for Sanaa or Boma one night, I have a 1 BR Savannah view which would be good for a wine party after!

Look at me, inviting strangers to my room. You're all lovely, right?

I would also like to join the group for the Halloween party. I'll check for the night Macraven is going, then I can bring some candy home!

we all are a tad strange........

especially me for when i do the mnsshp, i always say, only chocolates please, i'm old..............just ask pat what i did.
i ended up with 2 bags of mostly chocolate the night we did mnsshp.

i just started trying to out think disney on what nights will have the emh so i can plan dinner places.


i think we all should list some of the places we really want to do and then work around that listing.

if no one does, i'll just make some adr's for each day i'm there and make it a decent number. just want to have something to fall back on since i am going to be there solo.

i know geffric and her friend will do kona on that saturday night.
other than that, i don't know what the plans are for dinners/lunches.

since quite a few are doing saturday with pfts and eating around the f & w event that day, i figured kona would work for me.

Macraven, are you going to PFTS (Party For The Senses, DFD)? I've never done it, so far opting for a nice sit down dinner some where else. Are you planning on my two favorites as listed above? If so, count me in! I plan to renew my TIW card if that helps anyone. I usually don't do DDP because I often like the appetizers more than the entrees. Especially at CG, love the sushi!

Party For The Senses.

it is held at epcot and some of the gals in the group are planning to do it.
last year little by little the others decided to join in together for it.

i was the lone wolf out.
i did le cellier by myself kind of, sort of...

since i had more on my adr than what showed up at the ressie station, (meaning just me) i was told i needed more people with me in order to keep my adr.

so i made an annoucement to the group and ended up with 6 more people joining in with me.

they even paid for my dinner that night which i never expected.

saturday night at 7:30 was a prime hot ticket to have for adr for le cellier.


getting back to the subject, yes, the gals that did PFTS loved it.

i am not doing pfts but i think in reading back, there are about 4 gals that want to do it.

i have to look back and see what your favorite places are.

pfts i believe is on a saturday night and it will be at epcot.
from what i have read, that is when some of the gals are planning on doing it. if you want to join in, post that you are interested. those doing it will talk about it here.

i am doing the ddp.
i think this will be my last year i do it.

i come out ahead on some past years when i booked it but for this year, i did not get my AAA discount for the room on the package cause i signed up for the ddp.


i tell myself i have to spend $$$ this year in order to make it worth it for doing the ddp.

i need to look at the menus and prices and see where i can come out ahead.

last year i did some lunches and i would have been better off not on the ddp.

the Plaza at MK was cheap. i ordered a ruben sandwich and it wasn't that much money. i prefer to drink water so that meal was a wash out on the ddp.

MAC - that is funny.. I am debating DDP .. I would rather have appetizer than dessert.. and the TIP is OOP anyway.. what are you thinking for ADRs?? Coral Reef? Jiko?? Chefs or Le Cellier?? Or??


Dancind - i am going to just miss you sort of.. AKV Jambo 10/3 -10/10.. was OKW but my waitlist came through for a studio at Jambo.. value- dumpster/parking lot view but it will be fine..

Putting in my request again for California Grill and Flying Fish! And maybe Boma, Jiko, or Sanaa on 9/28, 29, or 30. That's when I will have the one BR Savannah view at the lodge.

I have a request for Disney Freak Numero Uno, when you update the second post again. Could you put first names? Since I don't know anyone, that would help me.

Actually I do know Laura (RachelTori). We have cruised together and did WDW a couple of times, with daughters and without. We learned not to share a room, but the eating and drinking parts together are fine!
