Nothing new to report here, still just waiting for some more 2009 news! I may be changing up our dining a bit - with Ohana's new changes, I don't think I'm going to want to go there. Waiting to hear about the T-Rex cafe in DD. I know DS would LOVE that, but I doubt it will be on the dining plan. We'll probably try to go anyways, maybe just for dessert or something, or maybe do a 2 TS show or something one night.

My dates are officially the May 23rd through the 30th!!!!!!! WooHoo!! we are planning to stay at the Port Olreans French Quarter!!

Hello fellow 2009ers:
I read on another thread that Mardi Gras will be celebrated on 2/24/09 next year. That is during the week we plan to be at the World. Does anyone have experience with the crowds during Mardi Gras at DW - is it noticeably more crowded?
We went to DW 2/24/07-3/2/07 on our last trip; but MG was 2/21/07 that year. We had minimal waits for rides during our last trip; and I'd love to think 2009 will be the same, but not sure again about the MG crowds.

We are going for 10 days.
We are looking at the middle of September.
plan to book as soon as the rates come out.
Going to try Dreams Unlimited for the first time.

Our mission if we choose to accept it (oh have already done that )
Plan a trip to celebrate our 25th

Going for a full 2 weeks of bliss and staying in what will aways be to me DIXIE LANDINGS (ok ok I'll join the P.C. train and call it POR)
Arriving the Monday after your Thanksgiving
Booking as soon as I can (watch my dialing finger go)
calling direct --- nothing like those chipper little voices asking all those magical questions and knowing RIGHT away that I have the ball rolling

I have been thinking about going to WDW since 1996 (when we had our first child), but I really have not started researching or planning until the beginning of this year.

Nope, not breakfast - dinner! They have taken away the potatoes and replaced with a peanut noodle dish (not my thing). Tikiman has also reported that they are doing away with the bread pudding soon. Those are the 2 items I really wanted to try, as I'm not the huge meat lover that DH is.
