It includes everything in the original (which has been updated occasionally). I didn't get through all the posts, but I'm working on it to ensure those items are captured too.

Thank you so much to both jlewisinsyr and jjohnson for all of the hard work on this thread and the spread sheet. They are invaluable at WDW! Can't wait to use them in September.

The info in this thread is great news to get different snacks, but do you have to "fight" with CM's to not get the typical soda, Mickey bar, etc.?

In 2006 when we went we tried to get other snacks and were constantly told NO.

No....it's different now. Everything that's covered by the DDP as a snack credit is marked with the DDP logo. No worries. If it was marked, we got it for snack credit- no problem. Of course, I didn't attempt to use snack credits for anything unmarked except at the Boardwalk bakery (cinnamon roll, mini mickey head cake WERE covered.)

Not all are marked and it varies from CM to Cm Iwas told no at Goofy's for a piece ofudge yet others have confirmed it as a snack!

I'm surprised to see so little snacks offered at CSR. Last year we were able to get a box of donuts and milk I hope we still can it was great for a quick breakfast. Linda :)

Linda, snack credits are now limited to single-serving items so the boxes of donuts and larger jugs of milk are no longer eligible under the DDP. Too bad. I loved getting the donuts and milk during my trip last year. One box of donuts lasted me for nearly the entire trip.

We got these wonderful turtle things at Goofy's. They had them in pecan, almond, and macadamia. they were like 3.95 I believe, but had no problem using them as a snack credit (and taking them back as gifts for friends!)

We also got a slurpee thing at Goofy's for one snack credit. (the grape was really tasty!)

GREAT to hear the slurpees are still included!!! My FAVORITE way to use a snack credit!!

Thanks for letting me know! :goodvibes Linda

We are just back and I was told that Chili Cheese Fries at Pop Century are no longer a snack. (I had to pay OOP for them :( ) She did confirm they used to be but are now a "meal" item.

Also, you can get a milkshake at Pop Century with a snack credit!

Funny you can go to Pecos and the Cheese fries are considered a snack but at Pop Century they are not? I noticed that right away about that list, where some places consider something a snack but yet the resorts doesnt. :confused3 My husband eats oatmeal for breakfast, but I dont know whether Pop Century considers that a snack or not. Does anybody know? I know its on the list at other places as a "snack."popcorn::

Well...one thing you CAN do--take oatmeal with you! :thumbsup2

Then, either (a) use the coffee pot in room for hot water or (b) use the hot water in the Food Court!

People do this all the time. You can probably even get bowls at the Food Court if you ask.

I think Pop is a little stricter, when I was there in Feb, there wasn't anywhere near as much snack items for ddp as the year before ! I don't understand if Pop is right and the parks are wrong but there should be some consistancy!!

Wow, that is really sad.

We always go in September, and we always stay at POP.

I was in AWE of just how many things counted as a snack option. It was "almost" out of control, there was so many things. I thought it was a fantastic idea that you could get a box of donuts or a bag of chips as a snack.

It's really sad that they changed it this year. My guess is that they are bringing it back in line. I wish they would have done a survey or something to Guests before they changed it.

:(

Hi,
I did not see the large colorful popsicles on that list. Did I miss that or are they not counted as a snack?

Yes all novelty icecream/popsicles have been available as a credit since the start of the plan in 2005. The list is more to educate everyone on all the snacks they are allowed to have that is not printed in the DP brochure.;)

I think it was merely happenstance that they were offering multiple-serving items as snacks for one credit last year. WDW has wised up about that.

I would never have expected that one snack credit issued to one person was expected to feed an entire family.

Me neither but I wasn't going to turn down that box of donuts!:rotfl2: Do you have an in with the Tag Fairy cuz I am "Tagless in Seattle !( Well no one said Geography was my best subject!!:rotfl2:

This is amazing. How come no one tells you this? We've been there 2x before (w/o kids) and thought we had a choice of a piece of fruit, popcorn, bottle of water, ice cream novelty and that's it. So we won't have arguments w/ cast members when we go to buy some of these more unusual items as a snack?

The rule of thumb is that you can use a snack credit for any single serving item that costs under $4. Most of them will be labeled. If they are not labeled, you will have to ask a cast member if you can get the item as a snack. Most likely you will be permitted to, as long as it fits the criteria.

Thank goodness the salted pretzels are still on there! That's what me and my husband split each morning. It's the Disney breakfast of Champions! lol.

It is very interesting to see exactly how many snacks you can get. We just thought it was popcorn, water, fruit, ect.... Very nice to know for next year (assuming it doesn't change).
