Wonderful! Thank you so very much!!!!!:flower3: :flower3: :flower3:

Hello, on the first page, one of the snacks listed for DHS is a cinnamon apple filled dessert pretzel. Does anyone have a picture of this? Is it as delicious as it sounds? Thanks

I don't know about apple-cinnamon, but we got a cream cheese filled one by Ariel's Grotto in MK, using a snack credit. It was $3.79 and quite delicious!

I don't specifically see this listed under POP snacks...but just about every morning for breakfast I had the Fruit and Yogurt Parfait using a snack credit. It's really good and pretty filling -- Yogurt, strawberry puree, and granola. I would add some bananas slices and it was enough to last me until lunch. I believe it was priced at $3.79 and can be grabbed out of the refrigerated cases or from the waffle line. Probably the healthiest thing I ate all week!

I'm lactose intolerant, so no cream cheese for me, but I have heard a lot of good things about them....maybe I will just have to stick to a regular salted pretzel, that just doesn't sound as fun :sad2:

I saw that last year you could use snack credits for the Food and Wine festival at Epcot. Does anyone know if we will be able to use them this year?

Last year, we were able to get lots of items at the Frontierland candy store --- according to the list, that has changed --- is that the case?

Thanks

The packages of candy are kind of iffy because anything that would be considered "Family Size" or shareable can't be purchased with a snack credit -- even if the price is below $4.00. For instance, my kids were trying to buy a package of gummy candy that was priced around $2.99 and they were told it wasn't included because it was more than an individual serving.

Also, in the past they looked forward to getting the Mickey-head lollipops that came four to a bunch (the ones on the really long sticks)...this year they have increased the price to over $4.00 so they are no longer available for a snack credit.

We were also disappointed when trying to buy some of the candy bars in the UK as they would not accept the DDP as payment.

I don't have a picture, but, I have had this pretzel. We found it more sweet and sugary than apple-y and are hoping to try either the cream cheese or the spicy cheese ones on our next trip. If you like the apple part of the very sweet apple pies/crumble/cobbler that you can get at many wdw TS places, then, you will probably like the Apple Pretzel. If you prefer your apple desserts to be more naturally sweet, then, I'd stick with the regular pretzel.

Where exactly can you get the apple pretzel? The name of the kiosk or CS and its location in DHS would really help this weary traveler. ;)

Thanks, I have a real sweet tooth, so I will definitely try the apple pretzel:)

On the first page of this thread, under DHS, it's Min & Bill's Dockside
.

What about the big boxes of donuts and regular(big) bags of chips? I dont see them on the list. I havent read through the entire thread, Im sorry if its already been asked.

I was there in 2006 and I'm almost positive they were offering the big box of Entenmann's donuts for a snack credit???? At Pops food court.

They stopped having that as an option in January of this year. Snack items are now single portion size... My DH would argue that a big box of donuts is single portion for him :rotfl:

Thanks. I had a feeling they were going to stop that. I think they should base it on price. They are allowing a dole whip float for $3.99 (or close to that price) I cant see charging more than that for a box of donuts :confused3

thanks for the info. =)

Okay, I'm back and have lots to report. I will give more info later but here's the highlights

Typhoon Lagoon-Yes you can use DDP! Leaning Palms, Typhoon Tillys and Typhoon Tillys Snacks. (we used a SC for the special flavored waffle cone at TT Snacks and it was really good-got the caramel/choc. flavoring). Not all kiosks can take DDP or KTTW cards.

Blizzard Beach-Yes you can use DDP! Lottawatta Lodge, Avalunch, Snowballs, and a few more locations. Not all kiosks can take DDP or KTTW cards.

Many of the stores have one location where they have all the snack options. I asked in several locations and was directed to them.

POP food court has a sign centrally located that tells you what you can use a SC for as well as what is a dessert option.

Everything POP has a list at the register of all items considered a SC. You could get the larger lollipops at Everything POP as well as Goofy's Candy Co. but not at the stores at GF or Poly. (I asked and the cashier couldn't get it to go through) We picked up 7 lg. lollipops at Goofy's at DTD on our way to MCO.

Another inconsistency was the bag of candy corn. I was told at Merchant of Venus that you could get it with SC but told no at GF and Goofy's.

Some locations said you could use SC on anything, single serving, under $4. I was told at Candy Cauldron at DTD that the limit was $4.50 (can get any item in case-fudge, chocolates, etc.) or caramel and candy apples except for specialty ones. (can get candy, caramel, and caramel and nuts)

I have photos of many menu boards and will post them as soon as I get a change to transfer them. I wanted to post about the waterparks right away for those going soon.

Arrived home last night at 10:30 p.m. pst( 1:30 a.m. est :scared1: ) Gotta unpack now.

Welcome back:goodvibes Thank you for reporting back to all us "snackers". I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures.

Isn't it amazing that there isn't one standard?

On one hand, it's a pain, but on the other hand, it's good because you can get "more" stuff this way!

Thanks for the report back!
