... I am never sure when to just push through it and when to stop.I don't mind the pain so much, I just want to avoid an actual injury at all cost! ...
Hi Maroo! I'm with you on this. I'm not sure either when I should stop or push on sometimes. I've just been doing my best to decide on my own, so far so good. For instance, yesterday my right hip was feeling pretty sore. So I decided to take the day off (it was a planned day off anyway according to the C25K, but I've been doing more than 3 times a week lately). Who knows if I REALLY needed to take the day off or if I would have been just fine doing it.
I feel like I need a trainer with me all the time to answer these questions! lol
It's only in the fourties right now and supposed to reach the fifties in the next couple hours, but the rain is coming with it. Hopefully I can get the run in before the skies open up.
This was not a good run day! I had to walk some during the run segments and overall it was just not good! I just could not talk myself into doing the full work out and I was so disappointed in myself and knew I'd have to come here and report to you all, that was the worse part! The outside of my ankles (my normal problem spot) were so tight and achy, I just could not get that area to loosen up and I had a horrible time breathing. Geez and just three days ago I had run 20 min. without any walk breaks! Yesterday was actually supposed to be my run day but I got sidetracked in Orlando and didn't get out to get it done. It had been three days since I did my 20 min run I don't think I can let three days go by again without wogging. We flew home today from Florida and were up at 4:00am EST for our 7:00am flight...I am sure that did not help.

) This site is an AWESOME motivator, as I feel like I have to come back and report...
I know, I know. Bad Maroo, Bad!
She sounds like an amazing runner! I'm so impressed by people, especially older people, who run so well.

I finished W6D1...I was determined to get back out there after yesterday and prove to myself that I can do this. I was frustrated after finishing the 20min run and then be able to get through 5 min./8 min. runs! It is very much a mental game! I am just a couple of days behind my schedule but that's okay as long as I do it!
